1 Grade 1 The Most Magnificent Thing Read a story about a girl who experiments and tinkers, and builds a MOST Magnificent Thing. Then use your own creative thinking and materials to create a magnificent thing, too! Yoga and Coloring - Relax and treat yourself to an hour of peaceful and relaxing yoga and another hour of creative coloring. Shadow Puppets Make your own shadow puppet to tell a story. Share your stories with your puppet, and watch others student s puppet show, too! Jujitsu Come join us in learning about the martial art known as jiu-jitsu! In this class, you will work with jiu-jitsu masters from the Minnesota Kali Group. You will learn some basic jiu-jitsu moves as well as how to raise the safety awareness of yourself and your environment. The jiu-jitsu masters will also provide demonstrations for our students! Weaving Weaving is all around you, but you don t even notice! We will look at examples of weaving together. Then we will make our own woven placemats out of bright paper to take home and use with our family! Watercolor Painting Learn to use watercolor paints to make a beautiful work of art that you can take home!
