1 Dear Teach Families, Mrs. Robson s and Mrs. Serafin s 5 th graders have been working diligently on our economic class projects, and we would like to invite you to our mini-mall on the afternoon of Wednesday December 17 th. Our class has been learning about entrepreneurship and the responsibilities of running our own businesses. 5 th grade students in Mrs. Robson s class will be donating all proceeds to the non-profit organization Along Comes Hope. This organization in San Luis Obispo is committed to helping children with cancer survive and thrive together as a family. Mrs. Serafin s class has chosen to donate all proceeds to CASA of San Luis Obispo. This organization advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children and ensures their safety in a permanent and safe home. We would like to thank you in advance for supporting us and our community, and helping to make this project successful. All Teach students will have the opportunity to buy home-made projects created by our 5 th grade classes, and just in time for holiday shopping. If students choose to participate, please bring cash in a labeled baggie to give to their homeroom teacher for safekeeping until their designated shopping time.
