Automotive Paint Application Parameters Optimization 5 days APPO-5 The quality of the paint finish and application efficiency are the most significant, everyday challenges for automotive painting. The process of optimizing paint application involves a close look at the cause-and-effect relationship between operating parameters and application equipment. The scope of this course includes an indepth study of this relationship and the range of variables that determine the behavior of paint application. 6 Robot Programming EcoScreen 3DOnSite is Dürr s proprietary software for visualization and virtual path programming. Get real world experience in a virtual world before moving the robot. We also offer real-world style training using teach pendants and robots. 3D-Onsite, Basic 2 days 3DOB-2 Introduces students to basic CAD robot path programming and coordinate systems and the use of EcoScreen 3DOnSite. 3D-Onsite, Advanced 3 days 3DOA-3 Students will generate and edit robot programs in 3D graphics and work with process data parameters using EcoScreen 3DOnSite. Robot Path Programming, Basic 3 Days RPP-3 Introduces students to robot components, teach pendant operation, safety precautions, jogging, mastering, and program entry. Robot Path Programming, Advanced 5 days RPP-5 Students will explore theory, concepts, and practical applications associated with the motion controller and associated servo functionality. Learn the tips, tricks & techniques to maintaining the paint application and color changing components. Students learn how to disassemble, rebuild, and troubleshoot the various sealer application components. EcoGun Sealer 1 day EGS-1 Students will learn about sealer gun maintenance, the mastic regulator, the proportional valve, and the masking device. EcoGun Sealer Tool Box 1/2 day EGS-TB50 This is a concentrated, half-day version of the full day class. 9 Mechanical Maintenance for Both Paint and Sealer Robots Get theory in the basic classes or hands-on experience in the advanced classes for the various maintenance procedures of the Dürr paint and sealer robots. Paint Robot (Paint) Mech. Maintenance, Basic 2 days RPMMB-2 Introduces the theory of basic paint robot operation, safety precautions, and use of the hand-held teach pendant. 6-Axis Robot (Paint) Mech. Maintenance, Advanced 3 days RPMMA-3 With lots of hands-on action, participants will dismantle the 6-Axis paint robot, reassemble it, and master the robot axes. 7-Axis Robot (Paint) Mech. Maintenance, Advanced 4 days RPMMA-4 Dismantle the 7-Axis paint robot, reassemble it, and master the robot axes hands-on. Sealer Robot (Sealer) Mech. Maintenance, Basic 2 days RSMMB-2 Introduces the theory of basic sealer robot operation, safety precautions, and use of the hand-held teach pendant. 6-Axis Robot (Sealer) Mech. Maintenance, Advanced 3 days RSMMA-3 With lots of hands-on action, participants will dismantle the 6-Axis paint robot, reassemble it, and master the robot axes. 7-Axis Robot (Sealer) Mech. High Voltage 1 day HV-1 Concentrates on the different high voltage systems and safety related issues. Examine the effects of high voltage on paint applications with lab experimentation using actual high voltage units. High Voltage 1/2 day HV-TB50 Get an overview in the Tool Box version of the full day class. This class focuses on theory. Robot Electrical Maintenance, Basic 3 days REMB-3 Introduces the robot and robot controller s electrical components with discussions about configuration and diagnostic procedures. Robot Electrical Maintenance, Advanced 4 days REMA-4 Covers controller software maintenance, teach pendant operation, interpretation of error codes, and robot mastering. 11 Emu Systems (EcoClean) A truly terrific finish starts with a clean surface. Emu Operator/ Programming 2 days EOP-2 Focuses on the interface of the operator controls to the motion controls of the Emu machines. Students will modify, create, and maintain Dürr s Emu path programs. The class will also cover the principles of the Dürr EcoScreen. Additional topics such as Emu theory, preventive maintenance, and common application problems will be addressed. Emu is emu in English, German, French, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish. But automotive feather duster machines actually use ostrich feathers not feathers from emus. Robot Operator, Advanced 2 day ROA-2 Features a detailed combination of classroom discussions and hands-on activities. Work in depth with the EcoScreen interface. Learn about atomization and electrostatic paint application. Start-up, shutdown, and fault recovery procedures are also emphasized.
