LINE FOLLOWER ROBOT CATEGORY RULES 1) Objective Line follower robots are designed to able to follow white line on black ground or vice versa autonomously. They are commonly used for carry the goods from one place to another in industry It is just enough to draw only lines on ground of plant to do this. The most important points for line follower robots are right program, hardware control and speed. In this category, autonomous line follower robots try to finish courses in shortest time and faultless by following white line on black ground or black line on white ground. 2) İnformation about the runway The lines are white on black and black on white. Tracks which have 400mm width, 5mm thickness are made by PVC foam. Joints between parts that make up the track are covered with black opaque foil. Lines are made by using white opaque foil through the middle of the track with 20±2 mm width.the distances from white line to edge of track are 200±5 mm for both sides. There is a tunnel on the track. There are two kasis on the track. When the first muscle passes, the robots will be exposed to smoke. Competitors should not consider the information from the distance sensor here. There are two obstacles on the track. The color of the obstacles is white. Obstacles are made of White Material. 400 mm ahead of obstacles and 400 mm side of the other road will start. Robots need to go through these side lines. The obstacles shall be 400 mm wide, 100 mm long, 200 mm high. There is a bridge on the track. There is one short cut on the track. The bridge path width is 400 mm. The angle of the bridge slope is 20±2 degrees.
Start and finish lines are available. The starting and ending line is 400 mm and the starting and ending line is 400 mm from the beginning of the runway. Sensors aligned with starting / ending line are placed 10±2 mm above at out of track. There will be an owl model on the track. Figure-1 General view on the track

3) Competition Rules The order of the competition is announced by the raffle system. The competition starts with the referee's instructions. The robots need to move on the runway in the specified direction of movement. Robots will be given the right to compete 3 times. The best time in the ranking will be taken into account. Robot that can't start; 10 sec. he'il be fined for time. 3. the robot who cannot get started will be disqualified. In the first 2 rounds, if the robot comes out of the track 2 times, it will continue from where it came from. The robot in the first 2 rounds; If it comes out of the 3rd time, it goes to the next round. If the robot can not finish the course in the first 2 laps, it is allowed to finish the course in the 3rd lap. If you finish the runway in any of the first 2 rounds, you will have a chance to get out of the runway 3 times in the 3rd round. In the last round, the robot will be given 5 minutes. If the robots are out of the way, the time will continue. Criminal Transactions to be Applied to Third Rights Robots who do not pass ramp are punished for 10 seconds and continue to compete from the point by putting them on the road where the ramp are finished. Robots who cannot pass the first obstacle will be punished for 15 seconds and continue to compete by putting them at the beginning of the other road. Robots who can not pass the second obstacle are punished for 15 seconds and continue to compete by putting them at the beginning of the other road. Robots who can not exit the bridge will be punished for 20 seconds and the competition will continue from the point indicated by the referee on the bridge. Except for the specified places, the robots that have come out of the road will be punished for 5 seconds and the competition will continue. Other
The height limit for all robots is 180 mm. The length limit for all robots is 400 mm. Robots cannot leave permanent marks on the road or cause damage to the road. Competitors can use any power source that will not harm the road and the spectators. If the laser is used only Level 1 laser can be used. It is the responsibility of the participants to make the necessary warnings to the referees in extra cases. Robots must follow the line. The robots must be Autonomous. The robots should not be controlled remotely. All robots in that category of the institutions determined to be controlled remotely will be disqualified. Robots that do not obey the above rules will be eliminated from the competition. During the production process, there may be changes in the size of the runway in such a way that it does not interfere with the overall structure. Evaluation The referee shall have the right to amend the rules if it deems necessary. Robots will be listed according to the time of completion and penalty. Penalties and completion times will be announced after the race. Teams entering the top 3 will be rewarded. Creative ideas and designs can be rewarded if deemed necessary. İnformation: It will be founded model houses that representing the safranbolu county on the edge of the road. There will be signs representing Karabük city and Safranbolu district. Application will be made with a fog machine to represent Kardemir A.Ş on the final track. The contents of the smoke coming out of the machine are glycerine, propylene glycol and essences. The machine's power will be 500 watts. Piste owl model will be found.
WARNİNG 1: The with flash photo take is prohibited in the saloon. WARNİNG 2 : It is recommended that the distance sensors do not react at distances less than 30 cm in order to prevent robots from being affected by elements other than the runway. Objections will not be taken into account.
