15 Presence detectors Use the light efficiently The Hager range of presence detectors detect infrared radiation and ambient light levels to provide simple and cost effective means of lighting control. This presence detectors range can be used in premises (offices, conference rooms, hotel rooms, classrooms, public building, homes etc) or in passage areas, where they increase comfort and reduce drastically the energy costs of the lighting. The new sensors come with embedded DALI standard and DSI protocol. In addition, the energy cost will also be reduced thanks to the low consumption technologies used to build the electronic parts of these sensors. 23 Latching relays Description Permits the remote control of a lighting circuits from several points using pushbuttons in private buildings, small industry buildings and administration buildings. Latching relays operate when impulsed by a signal voltage. The impulse can be provided via a push button or switch. The first pulse operates the relay and latches it into its set (opposite) state, the next operation of the push button returns the relay into its reset (original) state. By renewing the dimmer range, Hager again affirms its commitment to reduce the environmental impact of its products. These new products "feature greatly" reduced power consumption during operation. In addition, new functions enable energy consumption to match exactly to requirements. As an answer to the phasing out of high consumption lamps and the introduction of energy saving alternatives (CFL, LED), Hager proposes a range of dimmers adapted to these new types of loads. Compatible with all the bulb brands available on the market, this range allows quick and efficient implementation of dimming of all lighting load types. 27 Modular dimmers Description Hager dimmers control the lighting level of all types of lighting source: incandescent, LV halogen, VLV halogen with electronic or ferromagnetic transformer, LED VLV lamps with electronic transformer, fluorescent with electronic ballast. The new generation of EV dimmers 00W and 500W also allow the lighting level adjustment for dimmable CFL and dimmable LED lamps. 40 Presence detectors Lighting measurement In addition to one density of higher detection, the difference between one presence detector and a conventional detector of movements reside at the level of their principle of detection. The detector of movements will be activated in the event of detection of movements in the darkness. If the latter is transformed into lighting during the capture, the detector of movements will not extinguish however the light.
