The ontractor shall notify the Structural ngineer of Record (OR) of any below grade structure which may affect the foundation performance.. Foundations shall bear on residual soils or engineered fill capable of supporting an allowable pressure of 000 psf for column footings. Soils shall be stable, and any expansive, compressible, or shifting material shall be removed to ensure a stable moisture content.. Slabs on grade are designed for a modulus of subgrade reaction of pci using a K = 0..
