Tactical Cellular Location Solution 4
Solution Overview Over 15 years of experience as a pioneer in cellular posi6oning solu6ons: Protocol based posi6oning GUARDIAN RF based posi6oning Archer GUARDIAN - an ac6ve, man in the middle tac6cal system for 2G, 3G and 4G technologies incorporates various protocol based posi6oning methods to provide high accuracy, reliable posi6oning informa6on Archer - a unified 2G/3G posi6oning sensor enabling both accurate RF based posi6oning and advanced last mile posi6oning techniques 5
Unified Tactical Positioning Solution Combining our tactical positioning solutions together generates a unified, holistic and synergetic, cutting edge solution Subscriber acquisition, protocol based positioning and Archer Enablement RF based positioning GUARDIAN GUARDIAN Archer Archer Integrating these two realms generates new unique tactical cellular positioning capabilities
Unified Deployment Archer Units Deployment General Target Area GUARDIAN Deployment 7
Target Position Display 8
Narrowing Down the Target Area Focused Target Area 9
Last Mile Positioning Once the target s posi6on has been iden6fied within tens of meters, last mile posi6oning using portable Archer sensors can commence 10
Solution Components Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
Archer Next Generation Positioning Sensor Archer is a revolu6onary RF- based posi6oning sensor Mul6ple posi6oning methods: Signal Recep6on Angle (LoB) Time Based Posi6oning Received Signal Strength (RSSI) Can be deployed as a mul6- sensor system providing loca6on calcula6on and determina6on or as a compact carried sensor for last mile posi6oning Supports posi6oning of both 2G and 3G cellular signals Superb range and resistance to interference Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
Archer LoB Capabilities Archer Sensor generates Line of Bearing (LoB) from the sensor to the targeted cell phone High accuracy LoB (up to 1 RMS) Can be used in mul6 sensor system to generate a loca6on fix (accuracy depends on distance, the closer the target is, the smaller the target calculated containment polygon is) In parallel, can be used in the carried version as facilitator of last mile posi6oning the target is in the calculated direc6on Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
LoB Location Calculation 2 (or more) Archer sensors generate an LoB to the target The target is at the intersec6on of the LoBs 14
LoB for Last Mile Positioning The carried sensor version can provide LoB informa6on to the user carrying it (in parallel to sending it to the backend system) This help in decision making during last mile posi6oning of the target (calculated direc6on instead of es6mated direc6on when using a direc6onal antenna) The field team know which way to turn!!! Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
Archer Time Based Positioning Requires 3 (or more sensors) Provides high accuracy posi6oning based on 6me difference measurement of the received target s signal Accuracy depends on sensors span vs. target, not on distance 16
Archer Unified Positioning Both LoB and 6me based posi6oning can be supported in parallel by the sensor and the backend system This enables the system to generate higher accuracy loca6on fixes, eliminate less accurate calcula6ons, etc. 17
Last Mile Positioning Signal Strength Once an ini6al posi6on of the targeted cellular device has been obtained, last mile posi6oning opera6on can commence The Archer provides, in addi6on to LoB capabili6es, also recording and display of current and previous RSSI readings The generated heat- map allows to quickly iden6fy most probable loca6ons of the target and implement a phased last mile posi6oning process Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
GUARDIAN Overview A cueng edge, man- in- middle tac6cal cellular system for 2G, 3G and 4G IMSI catching, tac6cal loca6on tracking and intercep6on (including traffic manipula6on) Extremely flexible technological infrastructure: Advanced features (long range support, versa6le posi6oning capabili6es, etc.) Advanced configura6ons (covert, airborne, miniaturized, etc.) Web based UI can be completely operated remotely Advanced UI and process automa6on Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd. 2016
GUARDIAN Tactical Positioning A variety of loca6on tracking methods some mass loca6on and some targeted loca6on Various accuracies Enables Archer RF based posi6oning and last mile posi6oning opera6ons 20
Flexible Configurations Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
Operational Scenarios Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
Tactical Positioning Requirements Our high- end tac6cal cellular posi6oning capabili6es can be used in various scenarios: Physically reaching targeted persons Pinpoin6ng target loca6on for follow up opera6onal and intelligence ac6vi6es Accurately posi6oning targeted subscribers to assist in comprehending the overall intelligence picture Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
Last Mile Positioning Mainly used for target apprehension and threat elimina6on Find the device find your target Combing calculated posi6oning and last mile posi6oning: First step: isolate the target loca6on to within tens of meters Second step: last mile posi6oning and reaching the target In other cases, pinpoin6ng the target s hideout is the opera6on s goal, as a preliminary step towards a follow up opera6on Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
Last Mile Positioning Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
Last Mile Positioning Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
RF Based Tactical Positioning In other cases, it is only necessary to iden6fy the target s loca6on, without geeng close to it This informa6on is then used for other, follow up intelligence and opera6onal ac6vi6es Using the combined GUARDIAN and Archer allows providing high accuracy posi6oning informa6on regarding targets, enabling such follow- up ac6vi6es Copyright DefenseTechs Ltd
