No posted entries will be accepted. No entries will be posted back to exhibitors after the show. Closing date Friday 4th May 2018 at 5.00pm. Stewards or the secretary will be at the show pavilion to accept entries from 9.00 a.m to 3.00p.m on Wednesday 2nd, Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th May from 9.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m. The stewards would appreciate early entries. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Completed entry forms and fees must accompany all entries. Please include a phone contact number and an address. SAMPLE ENTRY Section No. 16 Class 1 Description Child/children at play Entry Fee 60c. No entry fees will be refunded if any entries are disqualified before or during judging. PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO TAKE PHOTOS of PEOPLE. PERMISSION MUST BE SOUGHT FROM THE PERSON OR GUARDIAN OF CHILDREN WHOM YOU ARE TAKING. A SECTION ON THE ENTRY FORM MUST BE SIGNED TO BE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER PHOTOS IN THE PEOPLE SECTION. IF NOT SIGNED, ENTIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This section is for amateurs only, i.e. someone who is not actively sourcing photographic work, is not being advertised as an award winning photographer, is not contributing photographs to magazines or newspapers and is not receiving payment for their photographic work. All prints must be 4 x 6 (10cm x 15cm) borderless or with a traditional white border. Ornate borders will be disqualified. No enlargements except in classes 65, 93 and 104. All photos must be taken by the exhibitors within the last 5 years. Photos may only be exhibited twice. No photograph is to compete in both small photograph and enlargement from the one negative or digital file. No print to compete in more than one class. Digital photographs must not be enhanced or altered in any way Digital prints must be printed on photographic paper. All prints to be mounted prior to their entry, on a single thickness of black, white or pastel coloured thin cardboard (NO THICK MATT BOARD ALLOWED) with a border 1cm wide around the print or the entry will be disqualified. No thick mounting will be accepted. Stewards will not mount prints for entrants. All prints to be mounted on a separate piece of cardboard except for sets of two or four. Photographs should be stuck securely to mounting and mounted so that no part of the photograph is obscured. Entries should be clearly marked on the back with a sticker with the entrant s name and the class number. First, second, third and highly commended will be awarded at the judge s discretion. Photographic subjects must all be Australian, states, ACT and NT only, except in overseas classes. (Any other Australian territories should be entered in overseas classes) Only two entries in each class for each exhibitor except sets of four prints and enlargement classes 15, 16, 65, 74, 93, 94 & 104. Judging of entries will take place in the show pavilion on Sunday 6th May 2018 at 2.00pm. Judging is open to the public. No person who is a family member of any nominated judge is permitted to enter any class as an exhibitor. Stewards/judges reserve the right to re-class entries which appear to be incorrectly classed and to disqualify any entries which do not comply with conditions of entry. Judge s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This section will be closed down at 4pm Saturday 12th May Exhibits can be collected between 5:30 and 6:00pm and must be signed for before being handed out. No photographs will be handed out before that time. Any photographs not collected on Saturday 12th May, may be collected at the show office after the show. Phone Secretary on to arrange a time and date for collection. Exhibits not collected will be held for one month after the show and then disposed of. Every care will be taken but the committee cannot in any circumstances take responsibility for any loss or damage. Prize Money can be collected at the Secretary s Office. Note the Secretary s office will close at 5.30 pm Saturday 13 th May
