1 ENTRY TO FARÉCLA 2018 STUDENT & APPRENTICE BONNET PAINTING COMPETITION The search is on to find the UK s most talented apprentice & student painters. Farécla is running a contest across UK and Ireland, and the winning design, matching the look and feel of the new Farécla website, will be displayed on the Farécla stand at the 2018 Advanced Engineering Show at the NEC, Birmingham on 31 October-1 November. THE PRIZES Overall Winner 1,000 cash, plus Farécla G Plus Polishing Machine and a full set of Farécla polishing materials worth 250. Attendance with mentor (or other +1) as guests of Farécla at the Advanced Engineering Show on October 31, 2018 at the NEC, Birmingham. Runner Up 500 plus full set of Farécla polishing materials. Other Finalists 250 plus full set of Farécla polishing materials. Best video or series of photos showing the making of the bonnet GoPro camera plus full set of Farécla polishing materials. You could still win this prize even if your bonnet did not reach the latter stages of the competition.

2 THE DATES (all in 2018) 29th June Closing date for submission of application forms. 1 st August Closing date for submission by of the completed bonnet in the form of a photo or series of photos of the painted bonnet, plus a brief description of your process and products used. 1 st August Closing date for optional submission by of a completed video or series of photos of the making of your bonnet only needed if you wish to be considered for the GoPro prize. September (final dates TBC) Two rounds of judging, resulting in a grand final of the top 4 bonnets. Late September / early October (final dates TBC) Those 4 bonnets will be transported to Farécla HQ where an expert panel will choose the ultimate winner. 31 st October The winning apprentice receives his or her prize on the Farécla stand at the Advanced Engineering Show. ENTRY FORM Download and complete the entry form below including entrant s and sponsor s signatures, and a scan or photograph of it to competitions@farecla.com, with Bonnet Painting Competition as the subject line, or post the entry form to Bonnet Painting Competition, Farécla Products Ltd, Broadmeads, Ware, Hertfordshire, SG12 9HS. Use the same or street address for eventual submission of bonnet photos and creation videos/photos. PRODUCT PACK Each college or bodyshop sponsor will be sent a pack of Farécla painting and polishing products for use by the apprentice(s) they are sponsoring to help in achieving the perfect finish. As well as polishing products the pack will include some Optimised Paint System mixing cups, plus the relevant adaptor to fit them to your spray gun.

3 COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS DESIGN Subject matter of the design is your free choice be creative! However the look and feel of the design must be in keeping with the imagery on the new Farécla website This means that the colours must be blacks, whites and greys and of course Farécla yellow (RAL1018, Pantone116C). A Farécla single colour logo (in black or white) must be painted somewhere on the bonnet - as a sign-off, or headline, or even incorporated somewhere within the design itself. DIMENSIONS The bonnet you paint must be no wider than 1.6m and no longer than 1.6m. ENTRANTS You must be sponsored by your college or your bodyshop employer (signature required on entry form) You must be an accredited apprentice painter or active student on the date of your sponsor submitting your entry form, and if requested, be able to supply proof of your apprentice status. MULTIPLE ENTRIES Only one bonnet per entrant.

I certify on penalty of disqualification that the paint job on the bonnet I will enter will be entirely my own work. In entering the competition I surrender any image rights in my bonnet to Farécla and accept that Farécla may use images of the bonnet on the Farécla website or elsewhere. I will keep my bonnet safely and in good condition until 10 September and release it to Farécla s temporary keeping if it should reach the Grand Final. If my bonnet should be judged the overall winner I accept that my bonnet will become the property of Farécla in exchange for the st prize money.
