The space will feature a cooking school, led by Van Aken, called In the Kitchen with Norman Van Aken along with a yet-to-be named restaurant concept, both slated to open later this year. He has taught rising young chefs, such as Michael Beltran of the stellar Ariete in Coconut Grove, who studied under Van Aken at Tuyo and the Miami Culinary Institute.
