NEXT; Working in main pattern, rep 3 times (12 rows) ending with 4 th row of pattern. NEXT; Break off M & join in C. Starting K, work in st.st, inc 1 st at each end of 5 th & every following 6 th until there are 55sts on needle. Continue in st.st. Until work measures approx 7.

Crotch to Waistband Using 4mm needles & C, Cast on 4sts, K across 55sts from 1 st leg, Cast on 8sts, K across 55sts from 2 nd leg, Cast on 4sts. (126sts) NEXT; Starting P, work in st.st. Until crotch measures approx 4Å finishing with a WS row. DECREASE ROW: K10, K2tog (21 times), K20, K2tog (22times), K10. (83sts) NEXT; Starting with 2 nd row of 1x1 rib work for approx 1Å. Cast off Join back seam for crotch, join leg seams. Thread shirring elastic through waistband if required. Thread ribbon through last row of eyelets in trouser legs, just below st.st. BONNET Using 3.25mm needles & M, Cast on 66sts. NEXT; K 8 rows. NEXT ROW: Work 1 row in lace. Change to 4mm needles. NEXT ROW: Knit. NEXT ROW: K3, P to last 3sts, K3. Work in main pattern, keeping 3sts at each end in garter st. Wide neck Small Bottle approx 9 around. Using 4mm needles & M, Cast on 33(42)sts. Work in main pattern as follows - Row 1: K2, *yfwd, K3, slip first of these 3sts over other 2, rep from * to last st, K1. Row 2: P Row 3: K1, *K3, slip first of these 3sts over the other 2, yfwd, rep from * to last Row 4: P Continue in pattern until work measures 3Å(6Å) ending with a P row.
