Check the yarn labels and use only balls of the same batch. Other requirements Scarves: Pair each Milward 3mm (UK /USA /3) and 4.5mm (UK 7/USA 7) needles. Milward bodkin and Coats washable toy stuffing. Mitts: Pair each Milward 3mm (UK /USA /3), Milward 3.5mm (UK 0/USA 3) and 4mm (UK 8/USA 6) needles. Milward bodkin and a small amount of Coats washable toy stuffing for Eyes. TENSION 3 sts and 35 rows to 0cm (stocking st) on 3mm needles; sts and 30 rows to 0cm on 4mm needles and sts and 8 rows to 0cm on 4.5mm needles or size needed to achieve correct tension. It is important to check your tension before starting your garment. If there are too many stitches to 0 cm, you tension is tight and you should change to a larger size needle. If there are too few, your tension is loose and you should change to a smaller size needle. MAKE UP Body: Using the long end at cast-on edge, work a gathering st all around opening at neck. Draw up tightly and fasten off. Fold Body in half lengthways and join seam. Place seam to centre back. Head: Join side edges of Head and Head Top. Flatten, with seam to centre back and join base seam. Stuff lightly, then draw up thread at Head Top and fasten off securely. Work a gathering stitch all round yarn colour change between Head Top and Head, draw up tightly and fasten off securely. Attach Head to Head end of Body. Eyes: Work a gathering stitch all round cast-off edge, stuff lightly then draw up tightly and fasten off securely. Position the Eyes towards the top of the Head and sew in place securely. Pupils: Using BLACK, work a circle of 6 [6, 7, 8] small Chain Stitches. Ears: Fold in half lengthways. Join side seam and over-sew cast-off sts. Sew Ears to Sides of Head, slightly towards the Back of the Head and in line with the Eyes. Tail: Join seam and place to centre back. Stuff Tail and sew up opening across top. Attach to Tail end of Body.**** Legs: Join back seam of Legs, stuffing evenly as you work up to the top. Sew across opening. Sew Legs to underneath of Body, positioned slightly outside each side of Tail. Fastening loop: With 3mm needles and SNOW, cast on 5 sts and work in garter st (K every row) for 8 [8, 9, 0] cm. Cast off. Mark position of Fastening on underside of Head with pins, first pin to come 3 [4, 4, 5] cm up from lower edge with the second pin 6 [6, 7, 8] cm up from first pin. Sew each end of Fastening loop securely to underside of Head at pins. Thread Legs through Fastening loop to complete.
