K1, *k2tog, k79, sl, k1, psso, k1* rep *-* once 4. Purl Continue with rows 1-4 as stated below, BUT reduce the no. of sts between decs by 2sts each round (eg 77, 75, 73 etc) Rep rows 1-4 x 15 times more (109sts) Rep rows 3 & 4 x 4 times more (97sts) K2, *k2tog, k2* rep *-* to last st, k1 (72sts) Purl Hood With RS facing and using 3.25mm/3.5mm/3.75mm and Pink yarn pu&k 72sts and knit 4 rows Change to Cream yarn and 3.5mm/3.75mm/4mm needles, pu&k 72sts Work in st.st on these 72sts until 14cms/15cms/16cms, end with a WS row Cast off 24sts, knit 24sts, cast off 24sts With WS facing rejoin yarn to remaining 24sts and cont until hood measures 12cms/12cms/13cms from cast off sts ending with a WS row Cast off Border Join the centre part of hood to the two side sections Using 3.25mm/3.5mm/3.75mm needles, with RS facing and using Pink yarn: pu&k 6 Pink sts and 67 Cream sts from front of cape, 94sts around face of hood, 67 Cream sts and 6 Pink sts from other front of cape (240sts)

5 WS facing knit in Lace 4 rows then cast off knit wise Dress Back Using 3.5mm/3.75mm/4mm needles and Pink yarn cast on 73sts 4 rows in lace Change to Cream yarn and knit 1 row Work in st.st until work measures 18cms/20cms/22cms from cast on edge, ending with a purl row Dec row: k2, *k2tog, k2* rep *-* to last 3sts, k3 (56sts) Purl 1 row Change to Pink yarn and continue as follows: Work 2 rows in st.st Divide for Back opening: K26, turn and cast on 5sts (31sts) and work on these 31sts first, put rem sts on a holder 1. K5, purl to end 2. 8 Flowers Cream (make 1) Using Cream yarn and 3.25mm/3.5mm/3.75mm needles cast on 30sts K1, cast off 4sts (2sts on needle), *k1, cast off 4* rep *-* to end (10sts) Cast off, break yarn leaving end to sew flower on Making up Cape with Hood Sew ends of hood border to cast off sts at fronts of hood. Make 9 Pink flower motifs for hood and front of cape(when each flower is made join the 1 st cast on and last cast off st into a circle lay flowers flat and sew on). Place 3 flowers on the hood and 3 on each front of the cape as in the photo Dress Join shoulder seams. Sew dress side seams changing from Cream to Pink thread to match. Sew on 3 buttons. Make 2 Pink flower motifs for Cream part of dress and 1 Cream flower for bodice (when each flower is made join the 1 st cast on and last cast off st into a circle lay flowers flat and sew on) Booties Join back and foot seam, drawing up slightly to avoid point at ends. Make 2 Cream flowers. Sew 1 flower to front of each shoe. Sew button to centre of each flower.
