She always loved a challenge. When she didn't know something, she would find out about it and try it. Barb loved all crafts: she sewed, knitted (both by hand and machine), did paper crafts, doll making, spinning and weaving. She took weaving classes starting in 1969, and started spinning soon after. Barb wove many samples, even from an old German book translated by Ruth Halroyd and Ursula Beck. She is greatly missed by her friends, as she was such an inspiration to us.
