Cut from strips 16-6 ½ squares Kona Champagne Kona Copen, Shale, Glacier, Navy, Chinese Red, Cedar, Chocolate, Ivy Kona Black 16-2 ½ x WOF 4 4 ½ x WOF. Cut from strips, 32-4 ½ squares 2 6 ½ x WOF. Cut from strips 32 2 ½ x 6 ½ 8 3 x WOF for border 1-2 ½ x WOF from each 2 12 x WOF, cut from 1 ½ strips 32-1 ½ x 12 Cut remaining ½ strip down to 10 ¾ cut into 1 ½ x 10 ¾

1m Assembly Instructions Sew black Kona 10 ¾ border to side of all panels, press seam towards outside of block, repeat with 12 top and bottom frame and press seam out.

3 1 10 ¾ x WOF, balance of the 32-1 ½ x 10 ¾ from this piece Binding - Kona Black 8 2 ½ x WOF Backing - Discover Canada AOR vintage Cut 2 lengths 2.25m join lengths together Batting Dream Blend 230cm width 2.1m Assembly Instructions Sew black Kona 10 ¾ border to side of all panels, press seam towards outside of block, repeat with 12 top and bottom frame and press seam out. Sew the eight single Kona strips between the Champagne Kona 2 ½ strips. Press seam into centre. Cut 2 lengths, 10 and 2 lengths 10 ¾ from each strip set. Pin together 1 or each length for ease during assembly. Match these to the list. Navy Quebec, Whitehorse Chinese Red Ottawa (gold), Fredericton Copen Winnipeg, St. John s Shale Edmonton, Halifax Glacier Vancouver, Victoria Cedar Calgary, Montreal Chocolate Toronto, Regina Ivy Ottawa (yellow), Charlottetown Mark each of the 4 ½ squares with a diagonal line on the back with a faint pencil line for stitch and flip.

4 There are 4 different block assemblies to this quilt. Make a pile for each Upper left Lower left Upper right Lower right Chinese Red Ottawa (gold) Chocolate Toronto Glacier Vancouver Copen Winnipeg Navy Quebec Ivy Charlottetown Shale Edmonton Cedar Calgary Shale Halifax Chinese Red Fredericton Copen St. John s Chocolate Regina Cedar Montreal Ivy Ottawa (yellow), Navy Whitehorse Glacier Victoria The first assembly is shown and the others are easy to make you just need to arrange the pieces in the correct direction as shown before assembly. A. Pieces required for one block: framed panel, 10 ¾ & 10 strip pieced section, 2 4 ½ squares, 2-2 ½ x 6 ½ rectangles, 6 ½ square B. Place then stitch the 4 ½ squares to the strip pieced segments, trim excess leaving ¼ seam. C. Arrange the 6 pieces, press following seam allowances. D. Sew 2 ½ x 6 ½ rectangles to the two ends, press following arrows. E. Join the pieces into two units, press seam as shown. F. Sew final seam and press. Complete the three more units as above, then complete the other units.

5 Following the picture or the following diagram, sew the rows together pressing the seams as noted by the right side arrows. Sew the rows together to complete the centre of the quilt, these seams are pressed down to the bottom. Add 3 border to all sides. Layer, quilt and bind to finish.
