ALERTS Hardware low cost, lightweight FDM Equipment Vision 1000 Imagery, audio and inertial data Jointly developed by Appareo Systems and Eurocopter, the ALERTS Vision 1000 is a powerful tool for capturing and managing flight data. The Vision 1000 is standard equipment on all new AS350 helicopters and works equally well on nearly any type of aircraft, fixed or rotorwing. The Vision 1000 is a cockpit imaging and flight data monitoring device wrapped into one. The system captures critical inertial and positioning data (i.e location, attitude, etc.) as well as cockpit imagery (instrument panel, flight controls, partial exterior view) and audio (ambient and optional intercom system). The flight data, imagery and audio are stored on a crash-hardened memory module as well as a removable SD HC card for use in FDM/ FOQA programs. The Vision 1000 offers a low cost, lightweight solution for collecting and analyzing flight data. Because of its small size and ease of mounting, the Vision 1000 is a perfect FDM/FOQA solution for any type of aircraft or operator. AS Flight Analysis Software is in use around the world, giving valuable visual and statistical feedback to pilots, university students, general aviation enthusiasts and military aviators. While AS Flight Analysis Software is designed specifically for use with Appareo designed hardware, it is also compatible with many commercially available GPS receivers. AS Flight Analysis Software runs on most current Windows laptop and desktop computers, and requires an internet connection to download the appropriate satellite imagery, terrain information and FAA data. Vision 1000 Playback Utility High Resolution Image and Audio The Vision 1000 Playback Utility is designed to display the imagery and audio captured by the Appareo Vision 1000 flight data monitoring device. The Vision 1000 Playback Utility works alone or in concert with AS Flight Analysis Software to provide syncronized playback of flight imagery, audio and Appareo s 3D flight files. The Vision 1000 Playback Utility allows users to gain an impressive amount of insight into each reviewed flight with tools for image zoom, image and audio file export and real-time basic flight data display. AS Web Analyzer is a web-based application which allows you to manage the activities of your fleet from anywhere in the world at any time. AS Web Analyzer was designed so that you can easily customize guidelines to suit any kind of operation, with a combination of pre-defined pull-down options and user-defined inputs. Because the software is so easily configured, ALERTS can be used in widely varied applications, ranging from longline hauling to search and rescue operations. Appareo Transfer Utility Data Transfer - Simplified Upon inserting an SD card with ALERTS data into a computer running the Appareo Transfer Utility, the inertial flight data is automatically moved to Appareo s ALERTS servers for analysis by AS Web Analyzer. In addition to transferring flight data, the Appareo Transfer Utility also allows Vision 1000 users to store their flight imagery and audio locally for an in-depth review in the future. The Appareo Transfer Utility is compatible with all ALERTS hardware and allows data to be transferred from multiple locations with ease - an important feature for operations spread across a large geographical area.
