Martin Wentzel Director, M&A Siemens Martin has more than 10 years of experience in Finance and Operations. He completed assignments as Technical Project Manager in South Korea, built a department for standardization in Germany and was respnonsible for the engineering IT strategy of a Siemens Business Segment with $400m in revenue of while doubling as Manager for Mechanical Engineering in Texas. After completing his MBA at Fuqua Shool of Business, Martin changed into the Corporate Finance group at Siemens and has since been involved in various acquisition and divestitures across the sectors Industry, Energy, Healthcare. Along his career, Martin has been a big proponent of IT-based process automation and integrated data management. Proactive Financial Forecasting for Project Business This presentation will discus the levers that drive project business and how customer billings and costs can be incorporated into accurate financial forecasts as well as the challenges associated with maintaining accurate financial information such as the need to find deviations early, the importance of aligning costs and the imperative of flexibility and active controlling. Martin will then demonstrate the advantages of this forecasting technique, in particular the ability to reflect actual progress in project business and how the forecast can be incorporate into the top down financial and strategic plan.

Peter enjoys partnering with Sales and Operations executives to help them meet or exceed their performance objectives. During his career at Whirlpool, he also served as Vice President, Finance, of the Global Production organization; and Vice President, Finance, of Whirlpool International. Mr. De Weerdt is a graduate of St. Gabriel College in Boechout, Belgium. He holds a Master s degree in Marketing from the Catholic University, Leuven, Belgium; a Master s degree in Applied Information Technology from VLEKHO, in Brussels; and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago s Booth School. 7 Confirmed Speaker Information Tim Ludlow CFO Pine State Trading Tim is CFO at Pine State Trading Co, a private company with sales of approximately $1bn. The company serves customers in all of New England and New York and is principally involved in wholesale distribution to the Convenience Store channel, the distribution of beer, wine and spirits and also the operation of a vending business. In addition to his finance responsibility, Tim oversees Procurement and also the Pricing and Sales Support Functions. Prior to joining Pine State, Tim was Treasurer and Senior Vice President Finance at C&S Wholesale Grocers. C&S, with sales of more than $20bn. The CFO & Value Creation As CFO, the concept of value creation or growth is easy to understand, almost intuitive. The subject is a little more esoteric for non-finance managers to grasp. I ve found over the years that many non-finance managers are good at managing the direct financial consequences of their brand, division or segment. The P&L statement is fairly well understood by most and very often forms the basis of performance compensation (sales growth, earnings or EBITDA growth). The challenge for the CFO is to explain the impact of not just earnings or EBITDA, but the broader concept of the importance of cash generation and how it will impact the value of an organization. How does debt, working capital management, capital spending, retirement plan funding, interest cost and tax payments, etc impact the value of a business? Kobi Carlebach VP, Business Control & Operations Perion Kobi Carlebach is currently VP Business Control and Operations at Perion, one of Israel s leading internet companies. He is responsible for leading all finance business activities of Perion s monetization division (Perion Codefuel); including defining business models and pricing, monitoring performance, and building the division s mid and long term forecasts. Kobi has been with Perion Codefuel for over 3 years and during this time was responsible for establishing the department, defining and implementing a new billing system, building an account monitoring system, and taking an active part in the merger of Perion and Codefuel. Prior to Perion, Kobi spent over 7 years in the different finance position within Amdocs, a global leader in telecommunications billing solutions. In addition to being a certified public accountant, Kobi holds a BA in accounting and economics and an MBA from Tel Aviv University. 8 Joanne Haworth VP, Corporate Business Analysis Hasbro Joanne Haworth leads Hasbro s Corporate Performance Management Group which is focused on Financial planning, reporting and analysis. Prior to this role, Joanne served as Hasbro s Assistant Treasurer, responsible for managing cash, bank relationships, foreign exchange and investment management. Prior to joining Hasbro in 1998, Joanne held various Treasury positions at GTECH and other companies in New England. Joanne has a MBA from Providence College and a BS from Bryant University. She serves on the Board of Directors for Home Care & Hospice of New England and on the Advisory Board for Northeastern University s Finance MBA program. Corporate Performance Management Implementation and Improving the FP&A Process Hasbro s Corporate Performance Management Systems don t only allow FP&A Professionals to benchmark their performance and improve the accuracy of financial planning. Jennifer Oliver SVP, Operations Jones Lang LaSalle Ms. Oliver is a Senior Vice President and National Director, Occupancy Planning at Jones Lang LaSalle. She is an occupancy strategist and leader in transformation with responsibilities for business development and operations. She is an expert in space data management, strategic planning processes and real estate operations including space management technology. Ms. Oliver is also the co-leader of the JLL Women s Network: New England Chapter encouraging diversity and career advancement for high value talent at Jones Lang LaSalle. Ms. Oliver holds a MS degree in Management: Leadership and Organizational Change and BS in Education. Occupancy Planning & Cost Reduction Real estate portfolios contain waste in the form of vacancy. Occupancy planning roots out waste and delivers cost savings that CEO s and CFO s can use to bolster other important enterprise wide initiatives. Occupancy planning provides the connectivity between the business strategy and the real estate portfolio. An occupancy strategy informs stakeholders on how to make better real estate decisions through the application of space data management, demand planning and scenario development. This presentation will help financial and operational professionals understand how to find hidden financial opportunities that support savings and business efficiencies through portfolio optimization. Kevin Mitchell Senior Director, Fiscal Accountability Millennium Challenge Corporation Kevin Mitchell is a Senior Director of Financial Management at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a U.S. Government international development agency. He ensures that foreign governments which receive MCC funding have proper financial management systems to implement their programs. At MCC, Kevin has overseen $1.6B in programs. Prior to MCC, Kevin was a Senior Financial Officer at The World Bank. In this position, he served as the project manager for the $1.5B Advance Market Commitments initiative, to introduce lifesaving children s vaccines into the developing world. Kevin has financial management experience in 50+ countries. He earned a BBA from Howard University and a MBA from The American University. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional. Integrating Top Down and Bottom Up Financial Analysis Conventional budget forecasting consists of a 12-month cycle combining actual results and a forecast which updates the budget over the remainder of the 12-month cycle. At the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a budget is developed only once - at project inception. After project inception, MCC utilizes risk-based, rolling quarterly forecasts for the duration of the project. Such an approach may be appropriate for project-based organizations which employ fixed budgets over a fixed term. This presentation will focus on the key risks, indicators and drivers which may impact the rolling quarterly forecast during the project term.

9 Colby Moosman VP, Finance & Operations Tidemark A prime example of a transformational CFO, Colby Moosman has helped one of the world s largest airlines and a leading U.S. homebuilder navigate crucial periods of restructuring, resurgence, mergers, divestiture and more. Moosman joined Tidemark in November 2013 after more than four years at American Airlines, where he advanced through a series of crucial Finance roles. While there, he directed financial planning and analysis activities during the airline s Chapter 11 bankruptcy and developed an innovative corporate planning concept that resulted in the largest commercial aircraft order in history, a critical step in American Airlines turnaround. He also led restructuring-driven fresh start valuations and the accounting team s merger integration efforts. Before joining American Airlines, Moosman spent five years in a range of senior Finance positions at Centex Homes (acquired by Pulte), one of the nation s leading home building companies. Toth was appointed Chief Financial Officer of ARC Document Solutions, Inc. in July Prior to his joining the Company, Mr. Toth was Chief Financial Officer of Bell-Carter Foods, Inc., a privately-held company operating in the food manufacturing industry. And from 2006 to 2008, Mr. Toth served as Chief Financial Officer of Fresh Express, Inc., a subsidiary of Chiquita Brands International, Inc. Mr. Toth began his career in investment banking where he spent the first 14 years of his career. Mr. Toth was first with Goldman, Sachs & Co. and then moved to J.P. Morgan s investment banking division where he was a Vice President. Communicating the Insights Generated from FP&A ARC Document Solutions has successfully integrated the site level financial analysis that is generated by analysts and managers with the strategic financial plans set by the CFO and the directors. This has allowed the FP&A team to drill right into the performance of each site and identify the causes of site underperformance, such as bloated rent or supplier costs. John will discuss how he communicates these insights with non-finance professionals, and how the FP&A team is partnering to reduce costs and drive the performance of the business. Mark Heiser Director, FP&A Nelnet Mark has worked in Financial and Accounting roles for over 8 years. Currently the Director of the FP&A divisions at Nelnet, Mark also oversees a strategic business line that specializes in software and services for Private Student Loan origination and servicing. Mark s key areas of focus are currently in diversification and expansion of the Private Student Loan servicing operation, in addition overseeing the FP&A for the diversified business segment at Nelnet which has over $300MM of annual revenues.
