South Korea has a market economy that ranks 11th in the world. As one of the fastest growing markets demonstrating incredible economic growth over the past four decades, South Korea leads as an innovator of global integration becoming a high-tech industrialized economy with $1.8 trillion USD in Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The memorandum of understanding (MOU) agreement went into affect on June 12, 2015 by the National Korea Real Estate Association is expected to be a valuable tool for establishing a firm partnership between the two global organizations. By positioning AREAA as the gateway to Asian American real estate communities, the Trade Mission will bring together private and institutional investors from South Korea to explore business and real estate investment opportunities in North America. Recognizing the tremendous potential for expanding US-South Korea investment ties, AREAA will bring together high-caliber business and government leaders to set the stage of marketing and sales efforts between the South Korea and US businesses. This year s Trade Mission will include lively networking events that will connect AREAA members and partners with top level corporate and government leaders. The event will include the Realty Expo Korea investment forum from September 19th 21st, where AREAA members will participate in one-to-one business matchmaking and investor round table catering to global real estate leaders. Participants will enjoy more than 8,000 exhibitor showcases offering in excess of 1,000 properties and investment opportunities in East Asia.
