Aitken is also a member of the dunnhumby Executive Board. Prior to joining dunnhumbyusa, Aitken held a variety of retail marketing positions, most recently as the Executive Vice President/ Chief Marketing Officer of Michael s Stores, Inc., the #1 art and crafts retailer in the U.S. with over 1,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, he spent nine years with North American grocery retailer Safeway, Inc. in a series of senior level marketing and loyalty reward positions, where he managed card & loyalty marketing, data mining / innovation and category management. Aitken also worked in the software industry as a consultant, as well as a Lecturer of technology at a college in Scotland. Aitken has B.A. in Information Management from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland and a M.A. in Information Management from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. He was a member of the Retail Board of Advisors to AC Nielsen, IRI and NCR s Teradata Division as well as the Board of Advisors to California State University East Bay s Business and Economic Department. 2 Edward Costa Vice President of Construction Office Depot Edward Costa is Vice President of Construction for Office Depot. In this role, Edward is responsible for all aspects of new construction for Office Depot, which has included the opening of over 507 new retail stores and 51 relocations in North America during his tenure; facility maintenance for Office Depot s North American retail chain, supporting approximately 1200 stores; and Office Depot s remodel program, which has performed over 400 successful store retrofits since Edward joined the Company. From 2005 to 2006, Edward led an Office Depot team, which achieved over a 10% absolute reduction in carbon dioxide emissions from natural gas and electricity consumed, due to a lighting retrofit of all N. A. stores to T5 energy-efficient lights; installation of new high-efficiency heating, ventilation and air conditions units; the addition of light-sensors in Company bathrooms and break rooms; and rolling out an Energy Management System, which allows the Company to track energy usage and trends from a central location. Office Depot achieved this result despite growing its total facilities footprint in N. A. by 1.7 million square feet during that same time period. In 2007, Edward was given additional responsibility for Office Depot s Internal Procurement division. As a result, Edward is now in charge of those purchases made by the Company and its associates for internal use. In 2008, under Edward s leadership, Office Depot broke ground on and opened the Company s first United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certified store. Office Depot also became a founding member of the USGBC s Volume Certification Program and earned LEED Certification for the Company s retail prototype. Edward joined Office Depot in Prior to joining the Company, Edward spent over 10 years in construction, store planning and store facilities for The Home Depot. Edward graduated from Park University in Parkville, MO with a B.S. Degree in Management, Information Systems. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.

3 Meg Crofton President Walt Disney World Resort Meg Crofton serves as President of the Walt Disney World Resort, overseeing a work force of more than 60,000 Cast Members at the world s premier vacation destination. She administers a property that is more than 40 square miles in size, and includes four theme parks, two water parks, 22 resorts, Downtown Disney, Disney s Wide World of Sports Complex and other attractions. Meg reports to Al Weiss, President of Worldwide Operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. A 29-year Disney veteran, Meg is widely known and respected for her outstanding leadership and passion for a world-class Guest and Cast experience. Our Cast Members are the ones responsible for delivering Disney s legendary Guest service, she says. They re constantly developing better ways to delight and surprise our visitors and deliver on the Disney promise. Meg has held a wide range of executive leadership roles at Disney in Human Resources, Hotel Operations and Convention Sales. She led an international task force responsible for opening six resort hotels at Disneyland Resort Paris in Meg has spent most of her career at the Walt Disney World Resort but has broad international experience, most recently as Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, serving 90,000 global Cast Members at five worldwide vacation destinations. Meg began her professional career in 1975 in Marketing at General Telephone and Electronics and joined The Walt Disney Company in 1977 as a marketing manager with Vista-United Telecommunications. After leaving Disney in 1979 to join AT&T as District Manager of Marketing, she rejoined the company in 1981 and proceeded to work her way up through a variety of leadership roles. Meg has been active in the Central Florida community for many years. She is currently chair of the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, and serves on the boards of Orlando Health and the Central Florida Regional Commission on Homelessness. Meg attended Rollins College and transferred to Florida State University where she received her bachelor s degree in Marketing and her MBA. She and her husband, Rich, live in Winter Park, Florida.

4 Mike Hyter President and CEO Novations Group, Inc. Michael C. Hyter is President and Chief Executive Officer of Novations Group, Inc. Prior to joining Novations, Mr. Hyter held a wide range of human resources and leadership positions at the Dayton Hudson Corporation. In 1992, he became vice president of Community, Government Affairs and Public Relations for sixty-three Dayton s, Hudson s, and Marshall Field s stores. He attributes the turning point in his professional development to his participation in a leadership development program delivered by J. Howard & Associates. Exposure to the efficacy principles, he attests, was paramount to his career acceleration. That event made me understand more fully that development is a learnable process and how to be responsible for taking on incremental challenges and risks in my own career. He was so impacted by the efficacy principles that in 1996 Mr. Hyter joined J. Howard & Associates. He was attracted to the organization because of its mission of developing talent and helping organizations increase the yield of their employees. In 1999, he was promoted to a managing director role and in 2001 was named President & CEO of J. Howard & Associates. Mr. Hyter went on to become President and COO of Novations Group (the parent company of J. Howard & Associates) and in 2006 became its President and CEO. Throughout his career, Mr. Hyter s work with executives in Fortune 1000 companies has resulted in organization-wide initiatives that have enhanced the business objectives of those organizations. He has also helped them expand that work into their subsidiaries in Europe and Latin America. This work has been enhanced by the belief that one of the most effective ways to impact an organization s bottom line is by growing and developing the talent within the organization. Mr. Hyter has published articles in 2004 Handbook of Business Strategy, Director s Monthly, Profiles in Diversity Journal, and Inc. He is also co-author of The Power of Inclusion: Unlock the Potential and Productivity of Your Workforce, published by Wiley in Mr. Hyter serves on the board of the Executive Leadership Council and the Citi Performing Arts Center (formerly the Wang Center) in Boston.

5 Dan Stanek Executive Vice President Kantar Retail Dan Stanek is an Executive Vice President with Retail Forward, a Kantar Retail Company, and has more than 25 years of experience in consumer marketing and retail consulting for Fortune 500 companies. He specializes in marketing strategy, channel strategy and brand development. Dan has extensive experience developing brand and retail market positioning strategies for many of the nation s leading retailers and consumer products companies.

6 Myron E. (Mike) Ullman, III Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer J. C. Penney Company, Inc. Myron E. (Mike) Ullman is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of J.C. Penney Company since December From 1999 until January 2002, he served as Directeur General, Group Managing Director of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the world s largest and leading luxury goods manufacturer and retailer based in Paris, France. From 1995 until 1999 Mr. Ullman served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DFS Group Limited, the travel retailer, majority owned by LVMH. Mr. Ullman served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of R. H. Macy & Co., Inc., from May 1992 to January Mr. Ullman was Group Managing Director of Wharf Holdings, Ltd. in Hong Kong from 1986 until He served as Executive Vice President of Federated Department Stores division in Dallas from 1982 until Mr. Ullman started his business career at IBM Corporation in 1969 where he became an International Account Manager. In 1976 he joined the University of Cincinnati as Vice President of Business Affairs. In June of 1981, Mr. Ullman was appointed a White House Fellow by President Ronald Reagan. In 1995, he was the recipient of the William Howard Taft Medal as outstanding alumnus of the University of Cincinnati and received an honorary doctorate in June of Mr. Ullman currently serves as the lead director of Starbucks Coffee Company and director of Dallas Federal Reserve Bank. He serves on the Retail Industry Leaders Association Board of Directors. He is also the immediate past chairman of the National Retail Federation. Mr. Ullman is a director and former chairman of the UCSF Medical Center Executive Board in San Francisco and is Chairman of the Board of Mercy Ships International, a global medical and human services charity. Mr. Ullman has also previously served as a director of Polo Ralph Lauren, Taubman Centers, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, Federated Department Stores and Segway, LLC.

7 John Wilkins VP, Retail Strategy Miller Zell John Wilkins is a vice president leading the Client Strategy & Marketing group at Miller Zell which is responsible for developing innovative in-store communications and shopper marketing strategies for retail clients. Wilkins was intimately involved with the transformation and re-positioning of Miller Zell from a graphics company into an integrated in-store media and design agency. His retail and strategy experience has been instrumental in expanding relationships with retailers and manufacturers like Home Depot, Suzuki and Newell Rubbermaid. Prior to joining Miller Zell, Wilkins formed and led the Industry Marketing team at FedEx serving the Apparel & Retailing industries. His global leadership yielded significant incremental revenue growth in the segment especially in the New York, Los Angeles, and International markets. During his tenure he received 7 awards for superior contribution. Wilkins began his career in sales and merchandising with Wilkins Industries, where he worked for 10 years before taking over as Senior Vice President of Operations and Strategy. In his operations role with the apparel marketing & manufacturing company, Wilkins focused on modernizing technical, quality, and sourcing infrastructures. Under his leadership, Wilkins was able to transform production systems and capabilities into proactive selling tools rather than reactive assets. Throughout his career, Wilkins has worked with several internationally known brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Nike, Aeropostale, Limited Brands, Home Depot, Suzuki and KFC. Wilkins is a graduate of Princeton University and University of Georgia, Terry College of Business.

8 Keith Curtis Vice President Director of Design Miller Zell Keith Curtis is Vice President Director of Design for Miller Zell. As Director of Design, Curtis is responsible for leading a creative team of graphic artists in a variety of disciplines including architectural, interior, environmental, experiential, and graphic communications design. Curtis is also part of the management team and is responsible for growing the scope of the creative department in alignment with company objectives and industry advancement. Prior to joining Miller Zell, Curtis was Director of Design & Project Designer for architectural and interior design firm Lieber Cooper Associates. There Curtis gained significant experience in hospitality design working with restaurant and hotel clients including Marriot, Aria Restaurant, Grinder s Sandwich Shop and Meatballs Italian Deli. Since joining Miller Zell, Curtis has been instrumental in the creative success of campaigns for Atlanta Braves Turner Field, Coca-Cola, Volvo/Mack, Blimpie and The HoneyBaked Ham. He has won awards and recognition from industry organizations including Visual Merchandising & Store Design (VM&SD), the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the American Society of Interior Designers. Curtis has also been published in several industry trade journals such as Display and Design Ideas and VM&SD. Curtis earned a Bachelor s of Architectural Design from the University of Illinois and the Universite de Illinois in Versailles, France. He continues to serve as a Design Instructor at both The University of Florida and at The Cleveland Institute of Art.

9 Mary Beth Garcia Director of Client Services Novations Group, Inc. Mary Beth Garcia has over 20 years experience in retail management and operations including department stores, independent and national specialty store chains such as The Bombay Company, Macy s and Sunglass Hut International. She has worked in client development with Novations Group since July, Her current client list includes top retailers such as Advance Auto Parts, Army Air Force Exchange Services AAFES, Belk Stores, Claire s, Dollar Tree Stores, Disney Resorts, Family Dollar, JC Penney, Pier 1 Imports and Ross Stores. Her most recent position prior to joining Novations Group was Sr. Store Operations, Communications Manager for a 2200 store, international retailer (Sunglass Hut International) specializing in accessory and highly branded products. Her field management experience includes positions in sales, store, district and regional management, Department Store Coordinator of multi-leased departments and Director of Stores. In those field management positions, she spent over 15 years as a client of Novations Sales & Service Practice (formerly MOHR Learning). 10 Sharon Daniels President and Chief Executive Officer AchieveGlobal Sharon Daniels, President and Chief Executive Officer, has overall responsibility for managing AchieveGlobal, an international performance improvement company. Ms. Daniels returned to AchieveGlobal after a four year absence in which she served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer of two other training companies in the industry. She originally joined Kaset International in 1991, and served in the roles of Consultant, VP of Operations and General Manager of Field Operations. In 1997 and 1998 she held a leadership role involved in the integration of the three companies: Learning International, Kaset International and Zenger Miller. Prior to returning to AchieveGlobal, Ms. Daniels served as President and CEO of Communispond, a corporate communications company headquartered in New York. She was introduced to Communispond through her work with Frontline Group, a roll up of eight individual performance improvement companies. Ms. Daniels career prior to her work in the training industry was in the field of banking. She joined Southeast Bank, headquartered in Miami, Florida, after college and held numerous roles in operations, the mergers and acquisitions team, branch management, and training and consulting. She was with Southeast Bank for fifteen years. She holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Florida, and a Masters in Training and Organizational Development from the University of South Florida, and has over twenty-five years of experience in general management and sales leadership roles. On the personal front, Ms. Daniels is an active member of the Instructional Systems Association and American Society of Training and Development. She is married and has three children. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering in her community as well as hiking.

11 Doug Koch Chief Talent Officer Brown Shoe Company Doug Koch is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Talent Officer for Brown Shoe Company, Inc. (NYSE: BWS), a $2.3 billion retailer and wholesaler of footwear with operations worldwide. His current responsibilities include overseeing IT and the Company s Platform Optimization Plan initiatives. Mr. Koch serves as a member of the Chairman s Executive Team and Strategic Council. Mr. Koch oversees human resources, including organizational development, talent management, human resources administration, compensation, benefits, internal communications and employee relations for Brown Shoe Company and subsidiaries. Mr. Koch came to Brown Shoe in 2000 serving his first two years as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Famous Footwear. His background includes 26 years of experience in human resources with various companies including American Retail Group, The Sports Authority and Macy s Department Stores. Mr. Koch is a graduate of Seton Hall University with a bachelor s degree in education. He serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Florida Center for Retail Studies and the Advisory Board for the McDonnell International Scholars Academy at Washington University in St. Louis. He is the advisory chairman for St. Louis Civic Progress Council s Executive Diversity Initiative: the Fellows Program.

12 Stephen M. Metivier Managing Director Wells Fargo Capital Finance Retail Finance Division Stephen M. Metivier is a managing director of Wells Fargo Capital Finance Retail Finance Division, a leading provider of senior secured financing to middle-market and large corporate retailers across the United States and Canada. A 17-year veteran in the retail lending industry, he joined Wells Fargo Capital Finance in 2006, leading a team of originators responsible for generating new business transactions and overseeing the marketing efforts associated with new business development. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Capital Finance, he spent 11 years in various positions with expanding responsibilities within GE Capital. As vice president of portfolio and originations, he helped build the GE Retail Lending Group s portfolio business to over $5 billion. He earned his bachelor s degree in business administration and graduated cum laude from Northeastern University. Along with his wife and daughter, he presently splits his time between upstate NY and the Boston area and enjoys skiing, golf, boating and biking.
