1 Glenn Murphy Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Chairman and CEO Glenn Murphy leads Gap Inc., one of the world s leading specialty apparel retailers, whose portfolio of brands includes Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime and Athleta. Since taking on his role in July 2007, Murphy has successfully driven earnings growth, effectively managed costs, and led global and online expansion for the company, which posted revenues of $14.2 billion in fiscal Murphy, who has more than 20 years of retail experience, and the company s senior management are focused on gaining market share and pursuing growth opportunities through the company s franchise partnerships, online division, including the Piperlime and Athleta brands, and international expansion. Under his leadership, Gap Inc. has opened 150 franchise stores in 21 countries, now offers online shopping to customers in more than 80 countries, and plans to open its first stores in China and Italy later in Murphy has successfully led diverse retail businesses and brands in the areas of food, health and beauty, and books. He has an established track record as a decisive, in-charge leader who has revitalized established retail brands. Prior to joining Gap Inc., Murphy served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Shoppers Drug Mart, Canada s largest drug store chain, delivering 22 consecutive quarters of year-over-year revenue growth. Earlier in his career, Murphy served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Chapters, Canada s leading book retailer and also held positions with Loblaw Companies Ltd, Canada s largest food distributor and supermarket chain. Murphy started his career at A.C. Nielsen, the world s leading marketing information company. Murphy holds a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.

2 Sabrina Simmons EVP and Chief Financial Officer Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Sabrina Simmons oversees all global financial departments, including controllership, corporate financial planning and analysis, investor relations, treasury, tax, risk management, the corporate shared service center, and loss prevention. Working in conjunction with the brand presidents, she also has accountability for brand finance. After successfully restoring the financial health of the company by improving merchandise margins while instituting strong operational discipline across the business, Simmmons and the company s leaders are focused on driving top-line sales growth, and strategic international expansion. From the end of 2006 through the end of 2009, Gap Inc. improved merchandise margins by 740 basis points; reduced operating expenses by over $500 million; improved return on invested capital; generated $4 billion in free cash flow; and returned almost $4 billion dollars to shareholders in dividends and share repurchases. In addition, the company grew earnings per share from $0.93 in 2006 to $1.58 in 2009, which equates to about a 20 percent compounded annual growth rate. Since joining Gap Inc. in 2001 as vice president and treasurer, Simmons has taken on increasing responsibility, rising to executive vice president and CFO in January Previously, Simmons was chief financial officer and an executive member of the Board of Directors of Sygen International PLC, a British genetics company. Simmons also worked for Levi Strauss & Co. where she was assistant treasurer, Hewlett Packard Company and KPMG. Simmons received her B.S. in Finance from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at the University of California, Los Angeles.

3 Marka Hansen President, Gap North America Marka Hansen serves as President of Gap North America, where she leads all aspects of the business, including Gap, GapKids, babygap, GapMaternity and gapbody and more than 1,100 stores. Since Hansen took on her current role in 2007, the 20-year Gap Inc. veteran has been responsible for solidifying Gap s positioning, establishing the global design team in New York and building a leadership team to take the brand forward. Together, they are evolving the brand s identity with a more modern, current aesthetic and store experience. The launches of 1969 premium denim, GapBody Sport, khakis and premium black pants represent the ongoing evolution of Gap brand. Prior to this role, Hansen served as President of Banana Republic. She joined Gap Inc. in 1987 serving in various positions, including Vice President of Gap Men s Merchandising, Senior Vice President of Merchandising, International division, as well as head of Human Resources for Gap Inc. Previously Hansen worked for Robinson s Department Stores. Hansen received a B.A. in liberal studies from Loyola Marymount University.

4 Jack Calhoun President, Banana Republic Named President of Banana Republic in 2007, Jack Calhoun is responsible for overseeing business which includes 575 North American stores. With its affordable luxury position, a rebalanced versatile product assortment and a solid healthy business, Calhoun and his team are currently focused on refining Banana Republic s marketing efforts and improving the store experience. During his tenure, he has successfully led growth initiatives including launching a collection of elevated handbags, personal care products, licensed eyewear, and clothing collections, such as Monogram and Heritage. Previously, Calhoun served as EVP of Merchandising and Marketing at Banana Republic. He joined Gap Inc. in 2003, from Charles Schwab & Co., where he was EVP of Brand Management and Advertising. Previously, he led teams at Foote, Cone & Belding and Young & Rubicam. He has also held various marketing positions at Levi Strauss & Company and The Procter & Gamble Company. Calhoun received a B.S. from Purdue University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

5 Tom Wyatt President, Old Navy As President of Old Navy, Tom Wyatt oversees all aspects of Old Navy s business, including more than 1,000 stores in North America. Since joining Old Navy in February 2008, Wyatt has led a return to the brand s value roots and fun experience for families. Old Navy is connecting with customers after extensive work to redefine the target customer and applying that filter across product, in-store experience and marketing efforts. Wyatt and his management team have also created an energizing shopping experience by remodeling a quarter of the fleet. Wyatt s retail career spans more than 30 years. He joined Gap Inc. in 2006 as President of GapBody. In 2007, he was named President of the company s Outlet division. Prior to joining the company, Wyatt oversaw the turnaround of Cutter & Buck, a top maker of sportswear, as its president and CEO. Wyatt s professional experience includes his role as President of Warnaco Intimate Apparel, and serving as a senior executive within the Saks family of companies.

6 Toby Lenk President, Gap Inc. Direct Toby Lenk joined Gap Inc. in April 2003 as President of Gap Inc. Direct, the company s e-commerce division. He is responsible for the direction and management of Gap Inc. s retail websites: Gap.com, BananaRepublic.com, OldNavy.com, Piperlime.com and Athleta.com. Lenk also oversees the company s private label credit card program. Under his leadership, Gap Inc. s online net sales crossed the $1 billion threshold in Lenk was responsible for launching the company s cross-brand online shopping experience that gives customers one shopping cart, one checkout, and one flat rate for shipping. In 2009, Lenk and his team fully integrated the company s acquisition, Athleta, into the online platform, and are currently testing a brick-and-mortar store format for the brand. Additionally, his team successfully launched the online fashion destination, Piperlime, and has expanded it to include more than 300 apparel, shoe, jewelry and handbag labels. In 2010, Lenk led the company s global online expansion to Canada and the UK, as well as offering shipping to 80 other countries. Prior to joining Gap Inc., Lenk served as CEO of GameFly, an online video game subscription service he co-founded in Previously, Lenk was CEO of etoys, an e-commerce business he founded in 1997, and also served as Vice President of Corporate Strategic Planning for The Walt Disney Company. Lenk earned a B.A. in economics and government from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

7 Stephen Sunnucks President, Europe and International Strategic Alliances Stephen Sunnucks serves as President of Europe and International Strategic Alliances, with responsibility for all aspects of product development and retail operations, as well as exploring new growth opportunities. Under his leadership, the company is expanding its international footprint in Europe with company-owned stores while reaching new customers with franchise stores in Asia, Australia, the Americas, Eastern Europe, and Russia. Gap Inc. currently has more than 150 franchise stores in 21 countries, with agreements in place to extend that to 24 countries by the end of The first company-owned Banana Republic and Gap stores are expected to open in Milan in 2010 and a Banana Republic is expected to open in Paris in In his 30-year career, Sunnucks has held senior leadership roles with major, well-known retailers including Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury and the Burton Group (now Arcadia). Prior to joining Gap Inc. in June 2005, he spent four years as Chief Executive Officer of New Look, a European clothing retailer with more than 700 stores in the U.K., Ireland and France. During his tenure as CEO, he repositioned the company as a fast-fashion brand, launched and rolled out a new large store format and introduced new product categories, all of which drove strong profit and tripled the share price. Sunnucks graduated from Sheffield University in England with an honors degree in economics.
