Our mission is to advance the highest standards of excellence for the legal profession, facilitate access to justice, and serve the community at large. We host more than 400 programs in all areas of substantive legal practice, planned by volunteer leaders of our more than 20 Sections and featuring experts in all areas of law. In the power of inclusion. The BBA is a non-confrontational and solutions-oriented convener, welcoming all stakeholders to discussion and debate. We bring people together to exchange ideas, build relationships and expand professional networks through active, in-person engagement. That no one in need of legal aid should be turned away based on ability to pay. The BBA strives to facilitate connections between lawyers and the people who need them. Our Lawyer Referral Service puts people in touch with qualified attorneys, and we provide pro bono trainings in a variety of areas, giving lawyers the knowledge and tools they need to represent people who require specialized legal services. In empowering legal service organizations locally. Each year, the Boston Bar Foundation provides grants to Boston-area legal services groups who are dedicated to expanding access to justice and improving our community. That justice is best advanced when the legal community more accurately reflects the community it serves. The BBA works in partnership with six affinity bar associations to welcome diverse law students and new lawyers into the profession and connect them with opportunities for growth and leadership. 6

Adams Benefit The largest fundraiser of it s kind on the east coast, the Adams Benefit is an extraordinary evening of art and music at the Museum of Fine Arts. Drawing over 1,100 guests annually, the Adams Benefit raises money to support the mission of the Boston Bar Foundation Law Day - April 2018 The signature networking event of Boston Law, the BBA s Law Day is well known for it s popular cocktail reception and renowned keynote speakers.
