1 INVITATION TO SPONSOR Currently in its eighth year, the North Carolina CEO Forum is an invitation-only leadership event that welcomes 400 senior business, government and non-profit leaders who are committed to helping North Carolina grow jobs and build the state s presence on the national and international scene. We re planning the 2017 NC CEO Forum on the heels of our most recent event with Keynotes Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post and General Keith Alexander, retired head of US Cyber Command and NSA. The theme for the 2017 NC CEO Forum is Innovation and Leadership in Healthcare. This year s event is dedicated to the dynamic business and innovations of healthcare. Healthcare touches all of our lives and is rapidly changing as new innovations, research, and breakthrough treatments transform the industry. Regardless of whether you live in the world of healthcare, this forum is relevant to executives and leaders from all industries. Our executive speakers will share their lessons learned through story-telling and will provide you with take-aways to apply to your business. JACK BAILEY is President, US Pharmaceuticals at GlaxoSmithKline plc. Prior to leading the US business, Jack served as Senior Vice President, Policy, Payers and Vaccines.

Jack joined GSK in May 2009 following a successful 18-year career with Eli Lilly, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, Account-based Markets Division.

She is known for being passionate about driving client experience, transformation, leadership and technical development.

MICHAEL KASTAN, M.D., Ph.D. is the Executive Director of the Duke Cancer Institute. Prior to coming to Duke in 2011, he had been a Professor of Oncology at Johns Hopkins and Cancer Center Director at St. Jude Children s Research Hospital.
