About the Guerrant Foundation Founded by former professional tennis player, Anne Guerrant, and her husband, Terry, the Guerrant Foundation has helped thousands of industrious people like Beatrice to create a life of dignity for themselves through small loans to start businesses. Programs supported by the Guerrant Foundation are in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, the world s poorest areas. Donations and sponsorships are matched up to $100,000 per year by Terry and Anne Guerrant. Anne met Beatrice, who owns a small shop, in Kaputei, Kenya. As her business grew she became the leader of her micro lending group. Today she has a small shop and is a wholesaler of soda. Her children are either in school or they have finished school.
