2 Introduction Welcome to Sutton Coldfield s Month of Music This is the second year we have held the Month of Music, which aims to showcase local talent at local venues throughout the town centre and already it has grown substantially from last year. Included amongst the regulars and favourites at well-established music venues such as the Station, the Gate and Three Tuns, we have new acts appearing at venues as diverse as Pizza Express and Simpson s Gin Bar. Finalists of last year s Sutton Has Musical Talent contest Sally Smith and Dayme, are appearing at The Brewhouse and Kitchen and acclaimed winner Christie Reeves is doing a turn at Quinto Lounge. There s something to suit everyone s taste within the pages of this year s listings, proving that Sutton Coldfield is a great place to be for music lovers in July. Anyone wishing to get involved in July s Month of Music next year, contact me at justine.longmore@suttoncoldfieldtowncentre.co.uk 2
