1 South Head General cemetery, maps For an overview of the cemetery layout, see below. There are no separate areas for various religious denominations in this cemetery. Most section notes also include maps indicating the section layout. These are not drawn to scale and are indicative only, but should provide assistance to researchers visiting the cemetery. The boundaries between various sub-sections, and even between sections, are often not readily apparent on the ground. Intending visitors to the cemetery are advised to read the relevant section notes carefully, and to make full use of the nearby graves reports that this CD can provide.

3 South Head General General Lawn This section is in four distinct parts, each laid out as indicated in the map below. To see how the parts relate to each other, see the overview map at the start of the sectional notes. Checking of inscriptions was completed in September 2002 Rows: 1-37 Graves: Rows 1-4 are next to the toilet block: Rows 1 and 4 as single rows; Rows 2/3 arranged back to back. Rows 5-23 are located through the central area of the cemetery, starting at the main gate and proceeding towards the Davidson monument, then Rows follow on behind the monument, towards the Packer vault. Row 37 is located to the west of that vault, adjacent to the end of Row 10 of Section N.
