2 Information We are proud to present to you probably the most comprehensive brochure of granite, marble and stone memorials available. The selection of a memorial is very personal. Our trained staff are always pleased to assist in your selection, advising you on such matters as the cemetery regulations, material selection and inscription suitability. If required we will visit you at home, at a time that is convenient to you. Please telephone for an appointment. Materials Designs and carvings shown on one memorial can usually be incorporated in another, flower containers or vases added or removed. Granite For Everlasting Memorials The hardest material used and virtually indestructible. Polishing granite brings out the beauty of the material. Many different colours are shown within this brochure. Ornamentation is achieved by etching and deep sandblasting. Italian White Marble The Traditional Material Most widely chosen for sculpture and carving. The appearance of this material has been synonymous with the splendour of memorial carvings for centuries. The Inscription Once you have selected the memorial the next step is choosing the wording for the inscription. Some suitable inscriptions and verses are shown on the opposite page, a more comprehensive list is available on request. You also have the freedom to compose a message that expresses your own sentiments. Be sure to discuss the inscription with relatives and close friends, and feel free to contact us if you require any guidance. Once you have decided on the inscription we will send you a proof layout. You can then make any changes before our masons begin their work. Stone Stones such as Nabresina and Portland are mainly used in churchyards. All memorials shown in marble can be produced in these stones, 2
