3 How It Works With MeM, a couple of clicks is all it takes to produce an array of beautifully personalized service items; but there s much that goes on behind the scenes in the creation of each piece. Read on to learn more about the intricate workings of the MeM print engine. Content Collection The MeM system pulls data from various places in the memorial and combines them to create the content which appears in each print item. Below are details on the various combinations and locations of data most frequently used in print. Subject Name. Found in General Info tab. Combines Prefix, First, Middle, Last, and Suffix. Primary Image. Found in Images tab. Can also be chosen through Advanced Options on the tab of each item within Keepsake Creation. Display Format. Format of Dates and Times may be changed using the drop down lists in the General, Disposition, Service Info and Genealogy tabs. Variable Verse. Text of verse may be accessed/edited through Advanced Options on the tab of each item within Keepsake Creation. Default verse text is based on paper style and language. Location Data. Found in Facility Profile on the main menu of the MeM Administration site. Uses location name, address, URL and logo. Automated Layout The MeM system assesses the amount of data present in the memorial and deploys the guidelines below to ensure optimal appearance of each piece. Autohide. Headers and sections will not appar if no corresponding information is entered into the memorial. Text Copyfit. When large amounts of text exist (in the obituary or verses, for example), the font will be reduced in size to fit the designated area. Unlimited Data. Additional pages are automatically included in select print pieces to accommodate as much content as necessary (services and family members, for example). Multilingual. All printed items are available in Spanish and French language. Style. Changing the paper style of a print piece will result in changes to the font color, default verse and other page elements to match the new paper stock selected. Header Overrides. Select print pieces include headers that may be changed (ex: Born and Died). This may be done on the tab of each item within Keepsake Creation. Page Margins. Select print pieces include top and bottom page margins that may be adjusted with a maximum of.5 (6.5cm). Turning off bottom margins will insert Location Data. The gray shapes present in this document are for reference only and will not appear when the piece is printed.

4 Keepsake Creation Selection Tool The selection tool may be used to control which services and dispositions appear in each print item. The tool may be accessed by clicking on the Services or Dispositions link on the item s tab within Keepsake Creation. Simply use the Add or Remove buttons to determine which services to include. The order of the services may be changed by simply dragging; this sequence will appear in print. A limit to the number of services exists for select print items. 11 Clergy Record: Outside During his high school years, Jim had a natural flair for cheering on and applauding just about everyone. He was constantly offering his support and encouragement to fellow members of the groups and activities in which he participated. He graduated from Cincinnati Public Schools in 944. He did well in school and genuinely enjoyed telling stories in a way that drew people to him. In this way, Jim had a talent for becoming the center of attention, a kind of social catalyst. Jim was often found to be the lead person facilitating a group activity, frequently filling the role of being the life of the party. Teachers and classmates knew Jim as an excellent listener. He placed a high value on learning and always understood that there was a new lesson to be grasped waiting for him just around the corner. The teacher he enjoyed learning from the most was Mr. Dursten. Jim will be remembered by his classmates for having come in first place each year in the annual woodworking contest. Jim did well in college, as a result of his being intuitive and finely organized. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in literature from Ohio State University. He also pursued graduate school, earning his Masters of Fine Arts degree from UCLA. His favorite courses were Literature and Journalism. His favorite professor was Dr. Aneil Hunn. Jim was a mentor, a natural teacher capable of seeing things clearly, leading others and bringing out the best in all of those around him. He generally had a focus on harmony and peace. Jim grew up with three other siblings, an older brother, Morton, and two younger sisters, Susie and Jane. Jim was constantly involved in all sorts of activities with his family. He was even-tempered, taking care not to get involved in too many family conflicts. This quality served him well, in perpetually bringing harmony, understanding and a sense of peace to the family. Jim carried these traits into his adult life and served as one of many reasons why family and friends found him pleasurable and delightful to be around. Jim was a person who genuinely understood and cared for others, making powerful connections with those he knew. As a young boy, Jim was imaginative, ingenious, clever and a novel thinker. Regardless of whether his peers were older or younger, or came from different backgrounds, Jim could easily relate to other kids. Always considered a good friend, Jim sought to understand the things that others enjoyed. For this reason Jim always seemed to possess a neverending collection of acquaintances. Jim's friends found him easy to know and get along with because of his talent for being socially at ease, adept at conversation and always amiable in his dealings with others. Jim would always seek to learn what his friends enjoyed, and he would go out of his way to make sure that their needs were met. Jim was always seen as the type of person who was the more gracious giver. In fact, he sometimes felt ill at ease when he was the one on the receiving end. Throughout his life he had many friends. While growing up, some of his best friends were Mitch Gibson, Fred Walter and Andie Wallace. Later in life, he became friends with Richard and Mary Anne McFarland, Bob and Rachel Noonan and Berry and Marnie White. On June 4, 95, Jim married Jill Rose Braun at St. Bernard's Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Compassionate and devoted, Jim worked hard to make his new family happy. He was always generous with his time and this meant that Jill came first in Jim's book. He was always caring and made certain that he considered Jill's feelings.
