Brand New Strategies for getting "butts in seats" (i.e. get people on your preview call) There are several strategies that uses to get butts in seats on her preview calls, but the most effective ones are where personally reaches out to potential affiliates. Personal connection to affiliates: About a month before s preview call, we make a targeted list of affiliates to reach out to. We pay attention to affiliates who have generated big results for us in previous campaigns, affiliates who have won contests for other people s promotions, and we look for people who have complimentary offers/services with a large reach (for example, twitter accounts with 12K+ followers). We also will become affiliates to other people, and then will reach out to them personally. The real key here is the PERSONAL contact from. Once that connection is established and the affiliate agrees to participate, then it s fine to pass off the details of the promotion to an assistant. One mistake people make is to have their assistant initiate the conversation. 10 Create your own info product tool kit (This is what refers to as "Build the plane while you're flying it!" This is the key to how so many of her students get their first info product done with no struggle and while being paid to do it!) CREATING INFORMATION PRODUCTS THAT SELL Get paid to create your info product. Build the plane as you fly it. The most effective products are built as they're delivered. It's a beautiful model because you have live interested parties on the line. You get real time feedback on your training, but you get the exact questions that are being asked so you can deliver a product that is exactly what your people are asking for! Five Steps to Create Products 1. Creating your info products without putting your business on hold. a) Offer the preview call to as many people as you can round up so they get that sampling of your expertise. a. You ll need a service for ing your list and bucket. We use InvisibleCart, a 1ShoppingCart system. b) Follow techniques to offer the listeners the opportunity or use your preview call. a. You ll need a way for people to pay you for your training course! We use InvisibleCart for this as well. c) Record the calls and transcribe them. a. We use Audio Acrobat or Instant Teleseminar to record our calls. b. We use PMA Web Services for transcriptions. Another alternative is Elance. d) Package the CDs and transcripts in three ring binders. a. You ll need to plan on graphics for your physical product. We use Vaughn at Killer Covers b. We use Cindy Tyler at Vervante for our fulfillment company. e) Improve your info product by adding bonuses. Make sure your bonuses are complimentary to your offer. Don t offer unrelated bonuses just to pad your offer. 2. Three Insider Secrets to Creating Awesome Products a) Be evergreen. Evergreen means you speak in a way that its content can be used over and over for years. b) Mark your edits. Easily remove parts of the audio that you don t want to keep in. c) Group your questions.
