On today's show, I'll be diving deep into what you're going to be learning from me and my special guest this season. So, this season of our brand new Boost Your Sales & Lifestyle podcast we have a theme and the theme that will be running through all of the interviews that you hear this season is how to sell to women, proven ways to honor them, serve them and inspire them to say yes. So, you are in the right place if you want to learn how to inspire, influence and attract women buyers into your business. Now, we're going to have a different topic every season going forward. Some of the topic we're starting here with how to sell to women and then in the next season we'll be moving into give yourself a raise, how to package, price and sell your expertise high ticket all without being salesy. The season after that we'll be moving into how to craft your online and offline sales conversion machine. I believe around here that everything should be reverse engineered from your Irresistible Offer and if you're out 1

2 there educating the world, giving your gift and services out there as a heart-centered entrepreneur you want to make sure that you have your sales conversion machine operating in the background so that everything you do is giving those prospective clients who really need you the opportunity to say yes to themselves and not yes later like after a long series of follow-up and pounding people but yes now. The chance that they see a possibility, they step forward and you don't leave them hanging. On the spot they're able to step in, pull out that credit card and commit to working with you to transform that area of their life or their business that they've wanted to transform in many cases for such a long time. And then another season that you'll have to look forward to in our podcast is called Speak-to-Sell, how to use live speaking to grow your business and this isn't the kind of keynote speaking that you hear of where you need a fancy video and to go out and sell your talk. This is really for those of you that don't consider yourself a speaker but you would love to get out there, give some great free and lasting content to the people who really need to hear it, open up their world, open up their possibility and use that as a way to attract your high ticket clients straight into your business. Not through a long and tedious funnel where they start out at $9 and move up over a series of months or years but really being able to attract people who are ready to work with you at the highest level right now today because they heard what you had to give when you speak. So, that will be another season that we'll be covering so much and really all of it around the idea of being able to sell your own gifts, your own services, your own expertise without being pushy or salesy. This is important to me and we have built a substantial 7-figure business from my home on this topic. We have clients in 134 countries. We've made the Inc. 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the United States list twice. Been one of the top... I want to say we were the #4 training company in San Diego and definitely in the top 5 of women owned businesses. So, a ton of accomplishments have come and a lot of contribution from really identifying, you know what, it is a whole different ballgame when you go to sell your own services, your own expertise. It's different. The techniques are different, the way we go about it is different. It feels very personal. People accepting or rejecting our offer feels like an acceptance or rejection of us and I can tell you my own personal story having gone through college at San Diego state. I live in San Diego but going through college and graduating with a degree in marketing and getting that job at Hewlett Packard and then going on to work for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, I've sold millions of dollars of other people's products as a sales rep, a sales manager, a trainer in corporate. The first time I got out there to sell my own service... I remember speaking to a small 2

3 women's group about how they could make irresistible offers in their business and I put it out there, I've never done it before, I'm not a certified coach but I put it out there at the time. This was Hey, if anybody would like my advice I'll do a 2-hour call for $297 and help you analyze where you could make irresistible offers and boost your sales immediately. And I remember just trying to get that out of my mouth it didn't sound quite that good in I was standing there in front of these about 30 women and I remember sweat rings that were visible like showing up on my shirt. Never wear a silk blouse when you're making an offer. I remember my hands were visibly shaking. There was like visible sweat on my lip. It was not pretty and I'm a person who has won all these sales awards and have sold millions of dollars for other companies. So, why was it that the first time that I went to put out something that was truly meaningful for me that was truly an area of my expertise that it felt so personal that it was so hard and then as I started to look into this I saw that this really is the case for so many of you that have opened your own practice, left corporate to do something that you love, taken your expertise and packaged it and want to get out there and help and coach and mentor and serve and then we hit that wall, oh shit, I have to sell. And so the content that we'll be covering both from me and from our special guest whether our season is about selling to women or package and pricing your own expertise or creating that hybrid online offline sales conversion machine and having those work together or using speaking to get out there and leverage and grow your business always the thread behind all of it is you having the structure to be able to make your Irresistible Offer in any situation without being pushy, without being salesy and I'm just so excited with this new podcast Boost Your Sales & Lifestyle that is the promise that through making irresistible offers you will be able to have immediate results of helping more people and making great money doing it. And why do I include lifestyle? Because there is so much I'm excited to share with you along with the guest that I have planned for you about your lifestyle, the design of your business. A lot of people don't realize that the offers that you make equal the life that you have. They impact your income. Your offers impact the difference you're making and how many people you get to touch. The offers that you make impact the structure. If you are selling a ton of one-on-one coaching, there's going to be a limit to how many people you can help. If you're selling seminars all over the world, you're going to be traveling a lot. Does that work for your family? So, I want to include both sides of the equation because my commitment is that you have a business and a life that you love and I know some of you listening you're here, you have a business that you love but the life 3

4 part is suffering, right? You haven't really had a good relationship in a while or your kids are growing up too fast. You turned around and you've missed another season of gymnastics or baseball. So, we can fix that and I've purposefully hand selected the seasons, the topics and the guest that I'll be introducing you to so that #1 the interviews are quick and power packed. They'll run 20 to 30 minutes. If you have a commute or your morning run... I like to do cardio for about 20 or 30 minutes and listen to something uplifting and enlightening; that's what we are here to be for you. So, this season's content it's important to everyone the topic of selling to women whether you're a woman or a man this is for you because no matter what industry you are in you look at all the big companies and where the marketing budgets are targeted and they are targeted at women. Women are starting about 70 percent of all new businesses right now and then on the home front women are holding the purse strings in many cases in the household whether because they're the income earners or they're the financial planners but women are taking an increased role both in the earning and the decision making and that's why when you look out where is the sales and marketing budgets for the larger companies you will see, you start to watch the ads, you start to look what's happening around you their culture is speaking to women. There are just some studies I saw that say women are making up to 80 percent of the buying decision. So, whether they're managing the finances, earning the money or not, when it comes to actually choosing what gets bought, women. So, you're going to be hearing from some amazing guests this season. In fact our very first episode one of my early mentors and now a colleague we promote each other's work, we mastermind together, we're friends Ali Brown who's out there advocating big time for women, teaching women in the mainstream how to step up for themselves with their own businesses, with their own ideas, really stepping strong into the area of leadership. So, I'll be bringing Ali Brown into an early show. You'll also be hearing from another bestie of mine we started out masterminding together and I'm a client of hers, she's a client of mine, we eat each other's dog food, right? This is JJ Virgin and actually it's not dog food that she's pushing. She has some of the most amazing health and wellness advice, products and programs on the market. You may have heard of JJ from some of her New York Times bestsellers like "The Virgin Diet" and "Six Weeks to Sleeveless and Sexy." So, JJ will be joining us also talking about her multimillion dollar business a lot like Ali but JJ's obviously serving people all over the world in the area of nutrition and health and wellness. 4

5 Also, I'm so excited to say that you'll be hearing from the founder of ewomennetwork one of the biggest online women's networking communities. Also have live seminars supporting women in growing and getting out there and being all of who they are for so many years along with her husband Kym, Sandra will be joining us again to talk to how do we inspire women, how do we attract women clients, what's distinct, what's important and again this is for women and men and speaking of men I'm excited to also say that in our early season I'll be featuring an interview with Eben Pagan. Eben is one of "the" most brilliant online marketers in the marketing space. You're going to have a couple of surprises when you hear the things Eben has to teach about selling to women, attracting women. Many people know him now for his marketing prowess with the online training companies that he has in the business space but Eben also has a history of some of the most successful, successful plays in the relationship space and we'll pull that out a little bit more on our interview, so stay tuned. Now, I want to say that there are some isms that you're going to hear around our campus. First of all one of the words you'll hear the most I already used it today is we call this Planet Sassy and you might say what is that about, Lisa. Some of you men might be saying am I in the right place but stay with me here, okay. First of all, I am Lisa Sasevich so I've had that nickname for a while. Second of all we have a yearlong mastermind program for heart centered entrepreneurs that holds each person's hand and walks them over a year period and exactly how to create your online and offline sales conversion machine and that mastermind program happens to be called the Sales, Authenticity and Success Mastermind. So, you can see there Sales, Authenticity and Success it's a community. Over 500 graduates have gone through it since 2010; still hundreds of active members and graduates on our campus. And so Sassy Sales, Authenticity and Success you can see that our motto is live sassy and we get called the Sassy Mastermind. We've self-referenced as the Sassy Mastermind. So, there it is again and then one day I said, you know what, I've got to look this word up in the dictionary because live sassy it's really the truth for us. It's not like something you stop, buy and do. It's a lifestyle. So, what does this mean and I was blown away when I saw and I hope you can identify your sassiness here on Planet Sassy today. See if you can find yourself in these definitions. So, first of all, the definition impudent means lacking modesty and exhibiting boldness. Raise your hand if you're a Sassy, right? Next up "vigorous" possessing vigor, full of physical or mental strength carried out energetically, capacity for intense activity, exuberant energy 5

6 and capacity for enjoyment. Let's hear it for all you Sassies on the call, right? I love the next one "lively" brilliant, fresh, imparting spirit. For me that brings in the trusted source consciousness that is so pervasive and important on our campus. "Resilient" quick to rebound, full of life, momentum, keenly alive and spirited. Let's hear it for all you Sassies on the line and one of my favorite parts of the definition and we will definitely bring some guests on to address this from the entrepreneurial perspective too. Distinctively smart and stylish. They always say you only get one chance to make a first impression. So, we're going to be talking about that everything from positioning yourself to I'm sure I'll be bringing on some guests that can talk about what does the first impression your style say about you. So, we've got a lot of ground to cover. We're going to have an awesome time. You're going to hear lots of references to Planet Sassy and now you have the big picture context of where that comes from. 7 Now, before we wrap up I wanted to go back to something I wanted to share with you again about a tenet that you'll hear through every interview that we have and whenever I'm speaking and it is really the core principle that we abide by during our yearlong mastermind program the Sassy mastermind is I said that you're building your sales conversion machine. What does that mean? Now, what that really means is you're putting in the structures. No scripting, nothing hard [inaudible 18:37] but structures so that you are hitting the notes whether it's a one-on-one invitation, you're talking on an interview like you'll be hearing me do in the weeks to come. Maybe you're being interviewed. Could be through video or TV or a teleseminar or webinar but that you know the pieces to include all the way from positioning yourself to positioning your audience, positioning your offer and positioning that unique transformation that only you provide. So, the way we refer to these structures, the sales conversion machine so for each one of our different training classes that we offer on our campus whether we're teaching you to Speak-to-Sell or how to use teleseminars and webinars effectively or how to sell from your own live stage or your own live event what's running through all of those that really is the core to success for the heart centered entrepreneur is structure because it is so personal to make our own offer. It does feel like a yes or no, as a personal rejection versus the truth. It's really just someone saying yes or no to themselves and their own transformation but what makes you be able to operate powerfully as a heart centered entrepreneur making your offers is structure. So, you will hear me refer a lot to a key tenet here which is structure gives you freedom and this show is Boost Your Sales & Lifestyle because it's not just about the business and the sales, it's about the lifestyle and really let's face it the freedom. Your freedom and your confidence are the things that allow you to create the lifestyle that you want while creating the business that you want and making the difference that you want to make. So, structure gives you freedom, is something that we will continue to foster. Of course that gives you confidence and in an upcoming episode I will introduce you to something called our 7-Figure Sell Without Being Salesy Blueprint. It's really the way that we have done, gosh, over $30 million of sales over the last 6 years - and my business is still home based. My kids were newborn and a 3 year old when I started. Now, they are in elementary and middle school - have been this 7-Figure Sell Without Being Salesy Blueprint. Let's see if there's anything else I want to share with you today any isms. One of the things that I love about everything that you'll learn and what I'll be really pulling from each of our interview guests is how did they build the plane as they flew it. We have this saying build the plane as you fly it and what that means is we are not looking for strategies where you need to put your business on hold and invest a bunch of money in 6 months to build a website or write a book or create the training class. The strategies that I'm looking to extract and I'll share with you for myself and extract from our guest our strategies where you get to keep going, stay in action, keep serving and keep making a difference and as you go you're being paid to do so. That's the acknowledgement that your work is marketable, that you're hitting the right notes, that you're on your dime we like to call it. The strategies that you will continue to learn here week after week are really strategies that you use while you're in motion. We'll never tell you to stop and create. You're going to create as you go and that is one of the ways to make sure that the offers that you're putting out are enticing to your ideal client, that you're hitting the mark. So, be on the lookout and be prepared for every week that 20 to 30 minutes you spend with me is going to put actionable steps so that you can build the plane while you fly it which means make money while you're making a difference, while you build the business and lifestyle that you love. And I'd say that the very last piece is that everything that I share with you and what I'll be highlighting with our guests are ways that as a heart-centered expert instead of being out there scratching and pursuing and becoming that person that you said you'd never be what if you could use what you learn here instead of pursuing to lean back and invite pursuit. What if you were able to structure your offers, your sales conversion machine, you stage talk, your presentation, your one-on-one conversation in a way that your ideal client leaned forward and you were able to even lean back a little as they got it, they got the magic, they saw the picture, they saw the possibility and they pursue you and they're thankful for the offer that you 8

9 make and there's nothing pushy or salesy about it. In fact it really would have been a disservice for you not to make that Irresistible Offer and that's really what I want to unfold for you today and what we'll be opening up over the course of the interviews that we have and the teachings that I'll insert is that really the Irresistible Offer is the key as heart-centered entrepreneurs to be able to invite pursuit and that is a disservice to be out there with your work educating people, giving work away, letting people pick your brain and not making an Irresistible Offer, not giving them something they can step into, say yes and commit to a new world of possibility whether it be their health, their relationship, their money, their business. You fill in the blank with what you do and this works whether you are in an office practice or you're a coach. Maybe you want to add a huge, huge transformational and cash element to a speaking business or you're in online marketing and you really think that your offers whether they're in your copy, in video that they could be a lot stronger. You're going to be able to apply this across the board. Again, our show is for men and women. The first season is called How to Sell to Women. Women are such a rising part of the business owners and making about 80 percent of the buying decision. So, this is a topic that you want to lean into, get excited and we will cover all the basis together.
