2 About me I established Studio309 as a dba in 1991, following several years working for agencies and freelancing. The illustration and design samples in this portfolio represent completed work for publishers, ad agencies, design firms and individual clients. As you will discover, I work in a variety of media and styles, and can provide illustration and design to cover a broad range of client needs. The fine art pages are included as examples of the artwork I do apart from commercial work, however, my paintings have led to some commissioned work for packaging and marketing projects. Working closely with the client, other retail associates and a focus group, we designed packaging that would stand out on a retail shelf among other dental cleaners. The retail carton was designed with two sales panels so that the facing side would appeal to people shopping for denture cleaners, or alternately, to a younger audience and moms looking for cleaning systems for mouth guards and retainers. Full Cast Audio s audiobook line includes over 80 titles, each with separate retail and library packaging. I m a one-stop shop for all of Full Cast Audio s design needs, providing package variations for all media formats; online graphics; marketing materials; and original cover art for some recordings, including all of FCA s Robert A. The existing display consists of flush-applied graphics and text, and offset panels. Studio309 was entrusted with expanding on the existing display while matching the style and materials. Working closely with the client and display manufacturer, using a combination of adhesive vinyl, and laminated aluminum and Sintra panels, the new addition ties seamlessly into the existing timeline display.
