8 CONCEP T BOARD SMELL THIS Walk barefoot for 2 min. TAKING CHANCES HOW TO PLAY Distribute one Skip card to each player. Shuffle any Skip cards that remain into the deck. A GAME ABOUT TAKING CHANCES. The first player goes by picking up a card from the deck. Then everyone takes turns picking up cards and then performing the actions written on their cards. Different decks have different difficulty levels. WHAT IS IT? Taking Chances is a game designed to encourage people to get out and try new things. This manifests itself in two ways. Players who preform the action on the card they ve drawn get to keep that card. Rinse and repeat. 1. A card game made for 2 or more people. Each person takes turns picking up a card. Each card has a task to preform, these tasks are Chances. If someone chooses not to perform the action on their card then they must use their Skip card. TAKE A CHANCE ON (A TOPIC) If someone does not want to perform the action AND they do not have any Skip cards remaining then they are eliminated from the game. These tasks are designed to help people get out of their comfort zone and try new things. Play until one person is left playing OR until the deck runs out. Count the amount of cards each player has to determine the winner. 2. An app that bridges the gap between the card game and the real world. Players would recieve random tasks throughout the day. Performing actions rewards players with in game achievements. Tasks done on the phone can be interactive. Allowing players to set timers, record short video clips, see leaderboards and share their favorite cards with friends over social media. DIFFICULTY PER PACKS The app would encourage users to get out in the real world and do things they normally wouldn t do. This game takes a tough love approch in its language and presentation. THE APP RELATED GAMES Other games I looked at in the same genre have different rules and objectives. None of the games I saw had a real world component. Part of the appeal of this game to the target market revolves around that. Cards Against Humanity. TARGET AUDIENCE The target audience for Taking Chances is young people just starting out who want to learn to be more ambitious and less hesitant to take chances. This would be particularly useful for college students and people searching for jobs. HIGH FIVE SOMEONE Install the app. Get a notification with an action card. But be sure to leave room for dessert or else you'll eat into your score! Gather the most points and consider yourself the sushi master! for your home......and your television.
