Auto Zero Ability of a digital scale to show a 0 value automatically when powered up. BMI A statistical measure that is the ratio between a person s weight and height and interpreted as a BMI score, a.k.a. Quetelet Index. Scales with this feature can calculate BMI score based on digitally measured or manually entered height data. Connectivity Ability of the scale to interface with a computer, vital signs monitor or other electronic device to transmit weight, height and/or BMI. Factory Calibrated All Health o meter Professional scales are inspected and factory-calibrated prior to shipment. Hold / Release Digital function that allows the user to hold the patient weight until the key is pressed again to release that information.
