1 September and October H News 4-You GRAPHIC Latah County After the Fair & End of 4-H Year! Last week at the fair while watching 4-H youth weigh-in their animals, checking in their projects, participating in livestock judging, or completing other 4-H activities, one fact was quickly apparent to me; How 4-H would not be possible without the help and support of volunteers, leaders and especially parents. This program depends on parents and leaders to arrange for 4-Hers and animals or both to attend clinics, programs, trainings, meetings, community service, judging events or others I ve forgotten to name. After arriving at the event, parents and leaders help set up, supervise and clean up. Then they turn around and head home, sometimes in bad weather, or late at night. They give up their week-ends, nights, holidays and summer so their child and other peoples children can participate in 4-H. Youth today have the opportunity to become involved in many afterschool activities. I want to thank every leader and parent for choosing to take time from their busy schedule to support this program. Latah County 4-H would not be growing and expanding without your help. I look forward to a new 4-H year and again a heartfelt thank you to each of you.

5 New 4-H Year Begins Enrollment began October 1st for the new H year. To enroll, please go to 4honline.com and use your sign-on and password from last year. After signing on, click the edit button to access your account. 4-H Online will walk you through the system to activate your enrollment. Please make sure your and mailing address is updated also.
