2 WHO WE ARE Assodivers Ltd. Is a Greek owned and based company founded on 1976 and has been servicing Clients for almost 40 years. Initially begun by offering diving services in the marine industry for a period of 10 years and later was involved and specialized in worldwide submarine utility installations and repairs. Operating a construction department since the beginning, Assodivers has been creating in house design and along with years of scientific expertise has been continuously reaching the main goal; to provide a set of creative, continually innovative, reliable and cost effective solutions fitted on customers needs worldwide.

Assodivers is also a contractor member of the Remote Systems & ROV Division of International Maritime Contractor Association (IMCA) and member of the Achilles global provider of integrated supplier management and supply chain solutions.

The long track record shows that the company has an extensive experience in offshore works involving diving assistance and underwater operation, related with flexible pipeline or submarine cables, both power and telecommunication.

7 SERVICES Assodivers is capable of offering engineering services which along with complete quality oriented project management services ensure the uneventful delivery of each project. Execution operations such as cable loading and transportation on site, pulling and landing onshore through pre installed pipes, laying activities, sea trench excavation by means of trenching and/or jetting techniques, offshore mattress installation etc. as well as provision of diving services, form regularly part of the company s scope of work, where Assodivers is either a turnkey solution provider or a subcontractor to major cable installation companies and marine contractors.

11 Post Installation support cable repairs Working together with most of the cable manufacturers, cable repairs have been carried out abroad and in most of the Greek island power and optical links. The company with its 29 years of experience in the underwater cable repairs field, has the necessary equipment and the experienced personnel to successfully perform such operations.

12 FLEET The vessels the company normally utilizes in the project execution are managed by an affiliated specialist company, S&O Ship Management Ltd and are manned on a rotational basis by circa 110 Greek seamen, including certified DP operators. S&O Ship Management Ltd is a Contractor Member of the Marine Division of IMCA and holds Documents of Compliance to the International Safety Management (ISM) code by the Greek and Cypriot Flag Administrators.

20 EQUIPMENT Most of the tools used for the execution of the various projects are designed and manufactured inhouse using experience and knowledge gained during our almost 40 years of operation. 2/3 of the employees are engaged on the equipment engineering, design and construction of a number of powerful jetting and mechanical trenching underwater vehicles, in addition to work class and observation class ROVs and other offshore support equipment. Each tool is modified according to each project individuality giving the advantage for custom made solutions and the realization of difficult projects.

Pre Lay survey, as buried survey on the total cable length protected CLB Atalanti Assoplow Assojet II Wilco Amphibious Excavator The Western High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Link is a majorelectricity transmission projectbeing jointly developed by National grid Electricity Transmission and SP Transmission. The project comprises the installation of two HVDC submarine cables between Scotland and England for a total length of the submarine route of approximately 385 km. The link connects England with the landfall of the Wirral Peninsula and Scotland at the Hunterston area. Prysmian has awarded ASDG with a subcontract for the submarine cable laying and protection for the Western HVDC Link project at Wirral. ASDG s SoW included cable loading of 2x36.2 km HVDC and 36.2 km FOC and simultaneous laying and burial of bundled cable. The SoW also included assistance to cable pulling to shore up to the sea land joint position, pre lay grapnel run, the performance of a visual pre lay survey and the execution of post lay seabed survey.

The Denise field is about 70 km off the Egyptian coast, while Karawan field is about 60 km off the Egyptian coast. The Denise field exploitation mainly consists of three subsea wells and the Karawan field exploitation consists of one subsea well. Microperi awarded ASDG a subcontract for the protection of the subsea umbilicals which were installed on the various routes. ASDG SoW also included the pre and post lay installation of bituminous mattresses over the crossings locations

Six (6) power cables and the two (2) optical cables laid in bundle with two power cables where buried in practice throughout the route. Each route was in average 38km and crossed 6 other previously installed services, two gas pipes and four telecom cables. The installation work was divided between the two circuits (of three cables each) and those were laid with about one year interval between each other. The first circuit only was further split in two campaigns.

Thesubmarinecableportionofthesystemincludedthefollowingcomponents: Two (2) submarine HVDC cables (poles) at 250kV, approximately 240km in length each; One (1) MV cable (laid in bundle with a FO cable) of approximately 240km length, with the same submarine and land sections with the pole cables. Each of the three cables (two poles, one bundle of MR and FO) was protected using the rockcutting trenching technique by the post installation method and sections which remained unburied due to the morphology of the seabed, were protected by cement mattresses installation.

In addition to the power cables two fiber optic cables (FOC) containing 44 fibers each were also installed in bundle configuration with a power cable on the central route of each circuit.
