The deepest ice well on the Earth (3769 meters) was drilled using the equipment produced by the Drilling Technologies Factory. 16 Drill rig URB-12.ZBT This is a modern refinement of the classic rig URB 2A-2, designed by Drilling Technologies Factory in cooperation with more than 100 leading companies in the field of investigations. The rig has more than 1000 changes in comparison with its analogue. The newest technical solutions and the foreign components have increased the capacity, functions and the quality of the rig and this allows to estimate the definition «modern classics».

19 Drill rig URB-14.ZBT The modern trends in investigations in increasing frequency became to demand the usage of medium sized rigs having the abilities for capacity of heavy series. Following these demands Drilling Technologies Factory has worked out the series of medium sized rigs. URB- 14.ZBT is the prominent representative of the mixture of rather small chassis and capacity of URB-2A-2. This rig concedes heavy series rigs a little, but it scores significantly in flotation through hard-toreach places.

20 Drill rig SBU-14.ZBT - «Strelka» This rig is also classified as the medium sized rig. The installation of the drill on the chassis UAZ allows investigating in places where flotation is very hard. 22 Manual drill rig UKB 12/25 The manual series of drill rigs is widespread among the investigators in places which are out of reach by wheels. Based on USSR inventions, some new versions of drill rigs were created by Drilling Technologies Factory, using the modern opportunities of engineering industry. The parts and units are modified in accordance with the possible up-to-date improvements.

23 CPT rig USZ-20.ZBT CPT becomes more popular among the investigating companies. The big rigs (20 t. and more) installed on the separate chassis becomes very popular. Being the official dealer of Van den Berg Drilling Technologies Factory produces the CPT rigs similar to the foreign ones. Only chassis is differing. Every truck is supplied by the Dutch recording equipment. At present the CPT rigs of the factory are the most advanced and leading in Russia.
