2 General features R A L T E S T S F O R R I B A N T A 4 Technicians of the Gütegemeinschaft Schlösser und Beschläge laboratory have carried out a series of difficult and hard tests based on the following main ones:. Endurance test.000 closing operations.000 opening operations, turn position.000 opening operations, tilt position.000 closing operations TOTAL: mouvements. 90 rotation.000 opening and closing cycles with 90 rotation (turn position). 3. Supplementary load A supplementary load of 00 Kg is added for minutes to the normal weight of the casement (00 Kg). TOTAL: 00 Kg. 4. Post simulation test The casement is accelerated for three times during opening against a post placed close to the hinge axis.. Test with obstacle in the rabbet The casement is accelerated for three times during closing after placing an obstacle close to the hinges. 8 RIBANTA 4 Tilt and turn mechanism and accessories Technical 3 4 features Security against wrong manoeuvre: it is placed in the upper side of the window to avoid any risk of mishandling. Adjustable keepers: they allow a micrometric and quick pull-in pressure adjustment, increasing window tighness. MORSA hinges: the design of RIBANTA 4 hinges match perfectly to MORSA hinges when you have tilt and turn with secondary casement windows. New Adjustable keeper: it guides the tilt opening, eliminating slacks. 3 Vertical fulcrum: the same safety of the horizontal version, but with more fastness in the fitting with the new vertical fulcrum. Anti-slam device in tilt position: hold open device in stainless steel, for a perfect casement stability in open position. Secondary leaf against RIBANTA 4 BREV. Possibility of exclusion of the upper bolt for windows with secondary casement: the only solution actually present on the market, that reduces costs and machining time. 4 Horizontal fulcrum: ensure smoother operation and maximum safety when the window is open with the hopper. Stainless steel arm (AISI austenitic, that is not magnetic) : on the stainless steel arm there s a 8-position locking piece for a better adjustment of pull-in pressure. Availability of 6 closing point also in case of narrow windows: it allows an increasing of safety and window performances. Vertical adjustment: it is possible to adjust vertically the casement, recovering eventual frame out of square. Lower hinge counterplates: the stainless steel counterplate links the hinge both on the vertical and horizontal profile. 8 6 Self-positioning hinges: they don t need any measurement for its positioning. 7 Larger pivot: it gives a hinge better stability also with a maximum charge. 8 6 Stainless steel counterplates: the only one with counterplates in stainless steel, both of the upper and lower hinges, grant more strengh and long lasting. Pin with strong fixing device: the new pin stop device grants the maximum quickness and clamping strength. Better clearance adjustment: the 3-position self-lubricating bearing (central; +0.; -0.), allows to recover possible cutting mistake and profile tolerances
