For the successful assembly of your NEW Jungle Gym, you will need the following: o Drill & 10/12mm drill bit o Connection to power supply o Tape measure (3m) o Fish line (5m) o Square shovel o Plump bob / Spirit level o Wood rasp (optional) o Rocks / half bricks (filler)

3 Method to square upright Decide orientation of structure. Please decide on base line. Draw a line at approx. 90º base line. Measure 900mm and mark with a nail on base line. Measure 1200mm on 90º line marked with a nail and fish line or string. Measure across and keep 1500mm on 900mm mark on base line, and move 1200mm mark until it meets 1500mm mark. You now have a perfectly 90º bend. Connect fish line to the other corner and follow the same instructions. Please follow the same instruction for the other corner using your 1200mm side as your new base line. After poles are planted; Please make sure the 3 floor beams have been bolted to uprights and fixed with nuts and washers provided at a high of 1500mm from ground level where no slide is fitted.

4 Method to square upright (continued) Bolt balustrade pole to uprights on the sides that you want to be closed, this will stablelize the structure. Fit floor planks with 60mm screws that are supplied for floor beams with screwdriver bit for drill machine. Notice each plank must be fitted with screws at each point. Fit halflogs to balustrade poles at 200mm centres so that the cap will be 100mm. Fit the cap to top of poles. If poles are to wide use a rasp or saw to correct the outside diameters. Secure cap by drilling a hole through fibreglass and screw cap to pole. Paint poles with Khuni oil to give deep, rich colour feel.

8 Construction of Tower: Handy Tips Place cap on the designated erecting spot on ground and mark out outside of corners using nails at corner-points. Dig holes (600mm)in the ground, using the nail marked as an outside guide. Ensure the holes are square, and not round, as a round hole wont keep a pole stable enough. Poles are not to be concreted or cemented this will cause the poles to corrode. Try to find half bricks or rocks and fill bottom of hole as to anchor poles, and then fill with sand and compact with a pole. Poles must be placed so that their outsides measures the size of the tower cap. Plumb bob or long spirit level can be used to ensure upright poles are vertically level. Please make sure the width between upright poles are the correct size at the top or else the cap won t fit use the following as a measure: 1.2 x 1.2 cap 1.2m pole 1.8 x 1.8 cap 1.8m pole 2.1 x 2.1 cap 2.1m pole Use the nails provided to assist you in holding the structure together until you can drill and bolt it. If you are going to install a walkway/bridge, you will note that there is one extra 3.0m upright on the tower for attaching it.

9 VIEW FROM THE SIDE: poles marked only applicable on 1.8 & 2.1 towers Construction of Tower: 1500 mm 1500 mm 600 mm VIEW FROM THE TOP: Refer to handy tips as guideline, and dig holes for the tower in chosen position Plant poles and compact, using spirit level to ensure that uprights/feet are vertically level and even in height to enable the proper fitting for the cap Position 2 x floor beams at 1.5m from ground level, using spirit level to ensure that they are horizontally level Drill through where poles join, fasten with threaded rod, nuts and washers tighten properly Place 3 x floor supports on top of the floor beams in the opposite direction Place floor decking on top of floor supports Use chipboard screws through decking to fasten onto floor supports (screws are self-tapping and do not need pilot hole) Use the diameter of a 3 nail as spacer to guide the spacing between the floor boards/decking ensure that the spaces are even, one end to the other Position cap on top of uprights and fasten from two angles with chipboard screws. Install balustrade poles horizontally level at 750mm from floor/platform drill through and fasten with nuts and washers Place 800mm decking planks vertically against floor and balustrade pole and fasten remember to leave 100mm gap between half-rounds to form a neat hand railing

11 Chain Bridge FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, THE CHAINBRIDGE WAS PRE-MADE USING THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS: 4 x 2.4m 50/75 Connect both chains to towers and fasten. 19 x 1.2m Decking (70mm) Connect hand-rail poles to towers and fasten 3 x 2.7m Chain 1 x 10mm Threaded Rod 10 x 10mm Nuts and Washers 57 x Gutter bolts

12 Trapeze Bridge 3 x 2.4 m 75/100 1 x 1.8 x 2.4m net 1 x 3 Nails 1 x Threaded rod 1 x Nuts and washers INSTRUCTIONS: Fit 2 x 2.4m poles horizontally to uprights of towers, 700mm above floor beam. Fit 1 x 2.4m pole horizontally between floor beams of towers. Tension net around outside of 2.4m poles and fix with 3 nails. (100mm apart.)

Pole spacing 1200mm from underneath. Fit decking and half-logs alternately to ramp beams with 4 x 60mm screws for decking and 2 x 3 nails for half-logs.

14 Step Ladder 2 x 2.4m 75/100 9 x 0.6 m 50/75 1 x Threaded rod 1 x Nuts and washers 1 x 5 Nails INSTRUCTIONS: Fit 2 x 2.4m poles to with threaded rods and nuts Fit 9 x 0.6m poles to 2.4m poles with 5 nails at 300mm spaces.

15 Step Ladder for Tower with Jumbo Slide MATERIALS LIST: 2 x 3.0m 75/ x 0.6 m 50/75 1 x Threaded rod 1 x Nuts and washers 1 x 5 Nails INSTRUCTIONS: Fit 2 x 2.4m poles to with threaded rods and nuts, Fit 9 x 0.6m poles to 2.4m poles with 5 nails at 300mm spaces.

16 Tyre Ladder 2 x /100 4 x Tyre 11 x Coach screws 1 x Threaded rods 1 x Nuts and washers INSTRUCTIONS: Choose a tower corner to construct the tyre tower from. Place a tyre on the ground next to chosen upright to mark the position required. Mark two positions for the tyre upright poles. Dig 600mm holes and plant the uprights as per tower construction. Place tyres, one at a time, and drill a 6 mm hole into the uprights to accommodate the coach screws Fasten the tyres, leaving desired spacing, with coach screws and ratchet-spanner

17 Fireman s Pole 2 x /100 2 x 0,9 75/100 1 x /100 1 x Threaded rods 1 x Nuts and washers 1 x Aluminum pole INSTRUCTIONS: Choose tower corner to construct the fireman s pole from. Mark two positions for the upright poles. Dig 600mm holes and plant the uprights as per tower construction (1.2m apart). Drill and fix the 0.9 poles with threaded rod to stabilize the uprights Fasten the 1.2m horizontally on top of uprights. Fix the aluminum pole to the 1.2m pole

18 Slide: 700mm 800mm INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure your ground level is 1500mm from floor beams. There is two mark on the slide where the holes should be drilled. Use a 5mm drill bit to make a hole trough the fibreglass (use a steel drill). Make sure that the ground is stable and level for the slide footing. It suggested that a small sandpit be excavated out, at the foot of the slide. After the slide is placed in an upright position, fit the slide with 5mm screw to the floor beams. Use a soft rag and Cobra floor polish to buff out any marks & blemishes.

19 Commando Net 2 x 2.4m 50/75 ( ) 1 x 1.2m 50/75 ( ) 1 x Commando net (2.4m x 1.2m) ( ) 2 x 10mm Threaded rod 10mm Nuts and Washers INSTRUCTIONS: Cargo net is pre-manufactured to size (2.4m x 1.2m), and fitted to poles Open the net by puling poles apart Place 2 x 2.4m poles diagonally (45 degrees) with the top against tower floor beam /support Obtain the desired rigidity of the net by adjusting the gap between poles Drill through floor beam and poles and fit together with 10mm threaded rod Fasten with 10mm nuts and washers on either side secure tightly To stabilize the structure : use the 1 x 1.2m pole place on the ground (behind and under diagonal poles) - drill through and fit together with 10mm threaded rod Fasten with nuts and washers on either side secure tightly.

22 Instructions of Swing Dig 4 rectangular holes each 600mm deep. Front to back holes must be 1500mm apart from furthest end. Plant 4 x 3000mm poles diagonally in ground and compact properly, poles must cross each other at 45º, enough so that 3000mm horizontal pole can be supported properly (cross +- 20cm from top). Adjust so that top beam will lay level. At point were poles cross, holes must be drilled and poles bolted together to form 2 A-frames. The two A-frames then are to be connected to top of A-frame structures in cross section - this too should be bolted. Drill 4 holes in horizontal beam to accommodate eye-bolts for swing-chains. Bend-open eye-bolts to attach chains & bed closed again. Fit & fasten eye-bots through holes in beam. Attach swings to chains with D-shackles.

23 Monkey Bars 2 x 2.4m Poles pre-drilled to fit 25mm 5 x 0.5 m Aluminum poles (25mm diameter) 2 x Threaded rod 1 x Nuts and washers 1 x 5 Nails INSTRUCTIONS: Line up the 2 x 2.4m poles next to each other to match up the holes Fit the 5 x aluminum poles into the pre-drilled holes and secure Fix the 2 x 2.4m poles to applicable horizontal/upright poles with threaded rods and nuts
