1 What will UGlu bond to? Based on extensive testing; we have found UGlu will bond to just about anything and everything except your skin! If you have a question as to the compatibility with any two surfaces, test first in an inconspicuous place prior to final application. How do I ensure I have a good bond? All surfaces should be clean, using rubbing alcohol, and dry. Pressure should be applied over the entire back of the adhesive when applying to any surface. In order for UGlu to be most successful it needs a large, stable and flat surface with which to make contact. What won t UGlu work on? UGlu may not bond well to materials that contain oils or embedded chemicals; such as wood paneling, wallpaper and paints that contain additives like antibacterial properties. If you have a concern whether the UGlu bond will hold on any of these surfaces, we recommend you do not attempt to use as failure may be likely. Do I need to clean the surfaces first? Yes. We only recommend using rubbing alcohol to clean your bonding surfaces. Using any other household cleaner may leave a chemical residue behind that may contribute to the failure of the UGlu bond. Any tips for hanging pictures? First ensure any protruding items are removed from the back of the frame including staples, hooks, and easels. UGlu should be placed in all four corners of your frame to ensure the best and most stable bond. UGlu will hold whatever it is bonded to; if your frame s back is covered in felt, paper or other covering, the UGlu will not be in contact with the frame itself and will most likely experience a failure and cause damage. Any tips for holding down an area rug?

UGlu should be applied first to the area rug, and only after applying even pressure to ensure the UGlu had made a strong bond should the second liner be removed and then positioned on your hardwood floor or wall-to-wall carpet. Do not apply to rugs that feature a rubber coated backing as UGlu may remove this layer and cause damage. What is the easiest way to cut UGlu? The easiest way to cut UGlu to size is to get it cold. This can be accomplished by placing the adhesive in the refrigerator/freezer for 2 minutes; Cut, using sharp/clean scissors, immediately after removing from the cold environment. Let UGlu warm-up to room temperature prior to using to ensure you achieve the best bond. Will UGlu bond skin together? UGlu will not bond to your skin. Although the adhesive will feel sticky there is no concern that it will not bond your skin together or leave a residue. UGlu is non-toxic, acid free and safe for children. Can I reuse UGlu? No. A new strip of UGlu should always be used for every new application. Reusing UGlu will eventually result in a failed bond and may cause damage to your item and/or application surface. How do I remove UGlu from carpet? Removal from carpet uses the same method as removal from a solid surface. 1. Roll a corner of the adhesive until you have enough to grab and hold. 2. Pull SLOWLY away from the adhesive strip, do not pull directly up or across the surface of the remaining adhesive. If you pull too quickly the UGlu may break or snap-off; should this occur simply start again at step #1. 3. Pull SLOWLY until you have completely removed all remaining adhesive from your item. If you are unable to roll and pinch a piece of UGlu you can add a new piece of adhesive on top of what is already in place. This secondary piece will quickly bond with the residual adhesive you are attempting to remove and provide you with more product to roll, grab and pull. I can reach the UGlu on my item, how do I remove it?

3 There are two different methods we recommend. 1. The "Twist" method: Firmly grasp all corners of your item and twist. This motion should cause stress to the bond and cause a release of the adhesive between the two surfaces. 2. The "Grab & Pull" method: Using a thin solid tool (we used a butter knife) slide the tool behind the item until you feel it grab the UGlu. Pull slowly out until you are able to grab the adhesive. Regardless of the method you use, Once you grab the UGlu simply follow the How do I get UGlu off of my wall/wood floor/tile instructions below. How do I remove UGlu from my wall/wood floor/tile? For any solid surface removal, follow these steps. 1. Roll a corner of the adhesive until you have enough to grab and hold. 2. Pull SLOWLY away from the adhesive strip, do not pull directly up or across the surface of the remaining adhesive. If you pull too quickly the UGlu may break or snap-off; should this occur simply start again at step #1. 3. Pull SLOWLY until you have completely removed all remaining adhesive from your item.

Is there a limit to the weight of a supported item? A single 1 x3 strip is rated to hold 2 lbs. Having said this, we do not recommend hanging/mounting any single item weighing over 5 lbs. UGlu is extremely strong, however in order to do pull-ups in a doorway the application must be absolutely perfect our scientists helped us with the illustration in the infomercial we don t recommend trying that at home. Can I mount shelves? No. UGlu should not be used to hang shelves of any kind. Failure will occur due to the shelf s center of gravity which places uneven stress on the UGlu bond. Can I mount to curtain rods? UGlu should not be used to curtain rods of any kind. Failure will occur due to the rod s center of gravity which places uneven stress on the UGlu bond. Product Characteristics: UGlu should not be used in areas where the adhesive is exposed to UV Rays (sunlight). The UV rays will alter the composition of UGlu and will cause the bond to fail. UGlu should not be applied to newly painted surfaces. The painted surface should be allowed to fully cure/dry for 60 days prior to UGlu application otherwise failure may occur with the bond. UGlu Dashes are best used on small applications and on lightweight items including: crafts, kids projects, hanging posters and small decorative accents around the home. When securing heavier objects, applying larger strips or a 3in x 3in patch will secure your item/s best. UGlu should NOT be used on items weighing more than 5 pounds. UGlu does not have an expiration date. As long as the protective liners are intact and it is kept in a clean and dry location it can be stored indefinitely. UGlu is tacky to the touch however it will NOT permanently bond skin.

5 Avoid touching UGlu directly. Direct contact can create balled edges, creases in the adhesive and will increase the chance of grease and oils contaminating the surface. Technical Details: UGlu works best when applied in temperatures above 50 degrees F. UGlu performs well in temperatures from degrees F. UGlu s bond is instant. There is no cure or dry time. After strong pressure is applied, the bonding power is at full strength. UGlu will hold roughly 2 pounds per 1in x 3 in piece of adhesive. This holds true ONLY when the entire surface area of the adhesive strip makes 100% contact with all items and mounting surfaces. DO NOT hang items over 5 pounds total weight. Never hang items overhead or over a bed. UGlu is Non Toxic. Conforms to ASTM D4236. UGlu is Acid Free. UGlu does not contain any VOC s and does not emit any odor. CAUTION: Do NOT use UGlu on any type of wallpaper covered surfaces. Do NOT use on valuables, highly sentimental or other irreplaceable items. Do NOT hang objects over beds.
