It is designed to appeal to the general public and gaming enthusiasts will be the 5th UK Games Expo and is held on the weekend of 3rd to 5th June. On Friday 3rd there will be open gaming rooms and roleplaying sessions as part of our Friday Games day. These are held in the adjacent Strathallan Hotel. UK Games Expo holds awards for great new games in many categories. See website for details. UK Games Expo hosts the release of a number of new games from across the genres. We also host National tournaments including the Heron Games UK Settlers of Catan Tournament, the UK Carcassonne Tournament, the Privateer Press UK Masters and a special children s tournament. Attendance UK Games Expo is the UK s biggest multi-genre games show (exhibiting games of all types). We have 60+ exhibitors, over 2500 attendees and many dozens of games to play. 2 P AGE 2 UK GAME EXPO The Venue : the Clarendon Suites The Clarendon Suites 2 Stirling Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B16 9SB Tel: Fax: Well situated near to the centre of Birmingham, in the pleasant district of Edgbaston, and with ample on site car parking facilities, the Clarendon Suites is the perfect venue for UK Games Expo. A number of different rooms and suites, allow for a mix of trade halls, tournament rooms and gaming areas....gobsmacked at how big the centre was initially, each of the large rooms were still able to be fully packed with numerous dealer tables selling everything from board games, RPG games, miniatures and wargaming paraphernalia." Uk games expo zones UK Games Expo takes place over 4 levels of the Clarendon Suites. The Ground Floor houses the Admin area, Red, Blue and Gold Zones (trade and gaming halls) and the Orange Zone (non trade area dedicated to RPG Gaming). More Trade and Gaming goes on on the mezzanine level which contains the Green Zone and the First Floor which contains the Purple and Aqua zones. Green zone accommodates low cost stands, whilst the Blue, Gold and Red zones being in the most prominent locations are a higher charge but are still affordable. Some trade stands can include space for demo games. Alternatively you can add on additional demo tables in the centre of each zone. 6 P AGE 6 UK GAME EXPO Exhibition stand charges Exhibition Stand types and layout Our standard exhibition space is based around 6 ft tables and 1-2 chairs behind them. The floor space is typically 6ft wide x 6 ft deep. Multiples of 6ft can be added together to make 12ft and above frontage stands. Enquire about LARGE space needs. See Fig A. Display stands can be set up with both a demo table and a stock table to allow demo games as well as sales. See Fig B Some areas of the Blue and Gold Zones are built into alcoves which are narrower BUT deeper than a 12 ft frontage. There are two sizes : hence the two prices offered.
