2 EXHIBITOR ADVANTAGE EVERYTHING ABOUT NICKEL CITY CON 2017 IS BIGGER EXCEPT OUR PRICING. We ve added another day and are adding bigger name guests, but are still keeping our exhibitor table prices incredibly low. We are also keeping the show tickets at the unbelievable price of $15 which means show attendees have more $$$ to spend with vendors & artists; it also means attendance, which normally doubles at second year cons, will probably outperform expectations. Exhibiting at NCC17 is a great way to promote your business and create sales. Our first year attendance was greater than most first year cons in larger markets- and we are poised to see tremendous growth in year 2. We had rave reviews from both attendees and vendors alike. Tables sold out last year and almost all vendors have expressed interest in returning so order your tables as soon as possible. This year CGC is coming and grading comics on-site! We are also adding a huge e-sports/video-game component and expanding our Board Game area, which will drive a new and large group of show attendees. Our marketing budget has increased this year and we expect large growth in regional attendees from Toronto, Syracuse and Rochester. Don t miss out on what will be the one of the East Coast s major cons of Spring 2017! HIGHLIGHTS OF NICKEL CITY CON 2016 Over 130 celebrities, vendors and artists filled our main floor. From wrestling legend Ric Flair to acclaimed comic artist Neal Adams, and charismatic actors Sean Astin and Ray Park, our star power was unrivaled among WNY events. Our Q&A panels brought fans closer to their favorite celebrities and comic creators. Sunday was Family Day at Nickel City Con and was highlighted by our free Kids Cosplay contest and free sketches provided by our artists. Off-site events included a VIP Party and a Cosplay Ball. 2

3 ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN The advertising campaign for the 2017 Nickel City Con will be extensive and aggressive on local and regional levels, and will include but is not limited to the following: Radio advertising campaigns on local market stations. Television advertising campaigns on local stations between programs specific to our demographic. Media coverage in local and regional publications including The Buffalo News, Niagara Gazette, Artvoice, The Public, Step Out Buffalo, Buffalo Rising, Buffalo Vibe, WGRZ Channel 2, TWC, and WKBW. Presence at local events including World s largest Disco, Buffalo Soup Fest, Buffalo Auto Show, Buffalo On Tap & Buffalo Home Show. Booths at comic book conventions across the United States such as C2E2, Long Beach Comic Con and more. Full color event brochure distribution. Guest promotion through their websites & social media, attracting national & often global attention. Vendor & Artist promotion on over 100 separate websites & social media. Charity ticket donations. If you need electricity for your booth, it is an additional fee and must be purchased through Buffalo Niagara Convention Center The Electrical form is located here: NY SALES TAX Each Vendor/Artist is responsible for meeting all of the New York State requirements regarding sales tax filings. Nickel City Con is required to submit a list of exhibitors to New York State. For information regarding New York Selling requirements please visit INSURANCE Nickel City suggests all exhibitors supply their own insurance.
