2 Welcome to the Mindfulness Conference 2018 You are invited to be part of the Mindfulness Conference. The conference will be held at the Bendat Community Centre, Wembley from Friday, 28 September to Saturday, 29 September We are very excited and confident it will provide sponsors and exhibitors, as well as delegates, with a rewarding and memorable conference experience. The Conference Organising Committee is pleased to offer your organisation the opportunity to participate in the Mindfulness Conference as a sponsor. Sponsorship will expose your organisation to a wide-ranging audience and will promote your organisation and its services and demonstrate support for this highly-regarded event. Sponsors are an important part of our conference. Not only is it an opportunity for you to showcase what you do, but your involvement will help us to provide an excellent, cost effective conference and increase the range of participants. What is the Mindfulness Conference? The Mindfulness Conference will cover the latest in research and mindfulness practices by some of the best know mindfulness authors, researchers, practitioners and trainers. The popularity, practice and research on mindfulness has grown significantly in the last 10 years, and new approaches to mindfulness practices and research have brought substantial benefits to health, education and more. The conference will offer workshops and programs under the banner of mindfulness and explore how to distinguish between evidence-based mindfulness programs and those that are unlikely to deliver on their promises. The conference will also look at the success of mindfulness programs in the following industry focus areas: Personal health in the health sector Mindfulness in schools and higher education Mindful leadership and its benefits in the workplace Mindfulness in police and military programs Mindfulness in both amateur and elite sport Sponsorship packages The following pages list the range of opportunities on offer to sponsors. However, we are mindful that some sponsors have unique needs, and we would be happy to discuss combinations of the offered packages with your organisation. Extra benefits Sponsors will be given a free one-hour presentation for their staff at their workplace/organisation on Mindfulness; A way to improve your health, relationships and work. The option to have the MindFlow; mindfulness-in-action course for their staff at a 50% discount of the normal rate (reduced from 4,500 to $2,250). This highly successful course can be run at your workplace and involves 6 sessions of two hours each where your staff learn mindfulness and meditation techniques as well as how to enter the flow state in relationships, work and personal life. Up to 25 staff can attend this highly successful course that has been rated by many participants as the most useful course they have attended in their lives. This will be a highly entertaining and practical talk where participants will learn the latest research on mindfulness and two techniques they can use in their daily lives. Conference Note-Pads and Pens $450 PER ITEM (exclusive of GST) A complimentary duo used extensively during and after the Conference. This is an excellent way to promote your organisation by its constant use. Your organisation logo can be printed on the pads with a message if required and your organisation name and in most cases, your logo can be printed on attractive pens. Conference Satchels $950 (exclusive of GST) Satchels are one of the most useful and lasting articles from the Conference. We have noted the continued use over many years of these satchels by delegates and executives. This is a sure way of having your organisation s logo in front of all delegates at the Conference. In addition, you will be acknowledged in the Registration Brochure and Program. Conference Lanyards $950 (exclusive of GST) Have your logo appear on the lanyard of every conference delegate. 7 Conference Lunches $950 each day (exclusive of GST) Lunches are an ideal way to promote your organisation at the Conference. Sponsorship includes inclusion of your organisation s brochure in the delegate satchels, your corporate logo in the Program and formal acknowledgement during the lunch.
