2 INT. BAR - EVENING Brad and Jerry step up to a table with beers in hand feeling exhilarated, especially Brad. Here s to yet another crazy day! They raise their glasses and toast. The drink. Another crazy day! Wait... I have a better toast. Here s to you, my friend; may we have more adventures ahead! To more adventures ahead. Oh, remember that insane night in Tijuana. Dude, I m still wondering how we didn t end up in jail. Yeah, that was insane. Remember when we crashed that party in Hollywood? We had everyone thinking we were famous directors. That was unreal. Yeah, unreal. They both share a laugh, then Brad gets serious. You remember six months ago? The night you crashed your car? Yeah, I remember.

3 You were unemployed, broke, your girlfriend dumped you, then you got drunk and drove your car over a bridge and into the river. Yeah, yeah, don t remind me. Have you ever wondered why things suddenly got better for you after that night? Yeah, I figured I finally caught a break, starting having some luck for once. It has been a pretty awesome six months, hasn t it? Hell yeah, it s been totally unreal. They both take a drink. There s something I have to tell you Brad. I need you to listen very carefully. Okay. You ve never been able to remember this, so here goes; I was in the car with you that night. Brad stares at Jerry confused. What? No you weren t. Yeah, buddy, I was. What are you talking about Jerry just smiles at him confident Brad will remember.

4 Then it hits Brad, a flood of images fills his mind and he starts to freak out. Whoa! That can t be right. How can that be. Sorry, I figured it was time you remembered. What are you talking about? Dude, you re just messing with my head. You re just saying all that. No, what you re remembering right now is all real. Brad s flood of memories culminate to one revelation... Brad is confused. Oh my god, Jerry. Why am I remembering this now... You were there. But you didn t... you didn t... I didn t survive. I know. Okay... this is not real. I m just having some sort of nervous breakdown. This isn t real. Well, actually, you re not completely wrong about that. Now I m going to give you the final piece. You ready? Suddenly Brad is horrified. Oh no, no... this isn t right. Tell me this isn t real.

5 Sorry, Buddy. It s true. You didn t survive either. But what about the last six months? (smiling) Yeah, now that was an adventure. Look, I knew we were both dead the moment it happened, but you were in such deep denial about the whole thing. So, I figured, meh.. Why not have one last adventure together before we cross over. But what about Vegas, Cali, Tijuana... Was any of that real? No, not exactly. Okay, I m gonna move on now. I would suggest you do the same. I hear being stuck like this actually kind of sucks after awhile. Jerry begins to leave. You coming? Jerry exits the bar, disappearing in thin air as he walks away. Hey, Jerry... Jerry, wait... you can t leave me here like this... Jerry! Brad looks around, still trying to wrap his head around it... FADE TO BLACK.
