UNUSUAL VICTIM Written by David Dalton & Chad Schnackel Pages: 3+ Characters: Terrence, 25+, sociopathic serial killer Trish, 25+, his victim Synopsis: Terrence kidnaps Trish with plans to torture and kill her, but Trish isn't so stable herself, which confuses Terrence. Permission: This script may be used for educational purposes only and may be produced, filmed and videotaped as long as writers and are listed on title credits.
INT. BASEMENT - NIGHT Trish is unconscious and tied to a chair. Terrence sits across from her staring with creepy curiosity, patiently waiting for her to wake. Trish slowly comes to... (shouts) Wake up! Trish is startled by the yell. Terrence pulls the handkerchief down from her mouth. What the hell. Who are you? What do you want with me? Haven t decided. Let me guess, you plan on killing me, right? Well, you get right to the point, don t you? Yeah, is that going to be a problem? No. (laughs) Well? Well, what? What do you plan to do with me? Do with you? Don t you mean to you? Damn, it smells like piss in here. You live here?
I think there were some stray cats living here. (beat) Aren t you afraid of what I m going to do to you? Should I be? Terrence stands up and pulls a knife from his waist. Yeah. Trish looks at the knife, then at Terrence, she is not affected. So, I have to ask, what did mommy do that was so horrible? What? Or was it daddy? (snapping) What the hell is your problem? I should just cut your fucking throat right now! Where s the fun in that? Terrence snaps as he slices her arm. She let s out a suppressed moan. I think you missed my throat. What is wrong with you? (with a mocking tone) What s wrong with you? Terrence is shocked, but curious. He begins to laugh.
You re not like the others. Sorry. You want me to scream louder. (she screams) AHHHHHHH! Cry? Plead for my life? (pleading) Please, please don t kill me. Oh God, please... I ll do anything you want, just don t hurt me. I want you to shut up. If you don t want to listen to me, just put the gag back in my mouth. Using the blade of his knife, he strokes it along the side of her neck and down her chest. I m going to strip you naked, beat you, cut you, and rape you as you bleed. Can I get a drink of water? Terrence stops and starts to get angry and paces back and forth like a caged animal. He suddenly leaves the room. After a few moments he returns with a glass of water and throws it in her face. He pulls another chair up and sits facing her. He doesn t know what to feel or how to react. Trish just stare back at him with hardly any expression. I know what you like. Skinny frail feminine bitches who scream. You like to see them squirm. You like to humiliate them. (sizing him up) I m guessing you shave their head, or maybe force them to do something sick. (beat) Me? (MORE)
(CONT'D) I like to see the look of hope on their faces before it s all ripped away along with their dignity...and the look of shock when you actually hurt them. Stop it. I know what you re doing. You think you can mess with my head. (pause) I m still going to kill you. I know. Terrence is confused. He get s up to leave. I m going to get something to eat. Fish tacos. I can go for some fish tacos. Terrence stops and looks at her blankly, he pulls the gag back up to her mouth, then exits. CUT TO:
