When Steve meets Holly, he is not aware of the plan and his wife isn't there to explain it. Awkward. 2 INT. LIVING ROOM - NIGHT We see a woman relaxing on the Steve s sofa. Her name is. She is reading a magazine she found on the coffee table. Steve walks in the front door and is a bit put-off by her presence. Um, hello...and you are? Holly stands up and appears a little uncomfortable Hi, I m Holly, Susan s friend. You must be Steve. She shakes Steve s hand. Yes. Holly, nice to meet you. Where s Susan? She went to the liquor store. She wanted to get some wine. Wine? We re you guys planning a girl s night in? Um, well, no. She didn t tell you I was coming over? No. Holly suddenly becomes uncomfortable. Are you okay? Oh. Yeah. This is probably a little weird. You come home and see a stranger just sitting on your sofa. Not really. I mean, if you re a friend of Susan s. No big deal. If you ll excuse me, I need to get out of these work clothes. Make yourself comfortable.

3 Holly sits back down on the sofa. Steve walks into another room. Holly begins to fidget and becomes even more uncomfortable. (To her self) Oh, this was stupid. What am I doing? She get s up and grabs her purse. Say, Steve. I think I m going to go. Steve comes steps back into the living room without his shirt on. Go? You don t have to go. I m sure Susan will be back soon. Yeah, I know. It s just... uh, I forgot I need to do something else tonight. Oh, okay. I ll let Susan know. (pause) It was nice meeting you. They awkwardly shake hands. Yes, nice to meet you, too. Holly heads to the door. She begins to search through her purse for her keys. She walks out of the front door. Steve walks back into the other room. We hear the shower turn on. After a moment, there s a knock on the door. Steve doesn t hear it. The door opens and it s Holly again. Hi, Steve? There is no answer. Steve? It s me again. Holly. I just remembered. I rode with Susan. (MORE)

4 (CONT'D) I don t have my car with me. Boy, do I feel stupid. (pause) Steve? Holly set s her purse down. She looks walks closer to the bedroom door. Steve? Still no answer. Holly walks back to the sofa and sits down. Steve shouts from the other room. Susan? (O.S.) Steve walks out of the bathroom wearing only a towel. Hi. It s me again. Well, hello again. You re either very fickle or lost. No, I just forgot I don t have my car. Oh. You re still welcome to hang out until Susan get s back. Steve goes back into the other room. After a a long pause, we hear Steve from the other room. (O.S.) Oh my God! Holly! Steve steps back into the living room. You re Holly. Yes. I think we covered that already. Wow! Could this get any weirder? Oh. Then you re here to...

5 So, Susan did tell you about me? Kind of. We talked about...things...we were interested in...doing. But that was awhile ago. Holly senses Steve s anxiousness and stands up. Yeah, about that? It seems a little, I don t know...wrong right now. No, no. I mean, yes. Maybe not right now, but later, when Susan get s back, you know, with the wine. Holly grabs her purse and starts to leave. I don t think so. Is it me? I m not doing it for you? Oh no. You re a very attractive guy. Just like Susan described. I just don t think I can do this. Oh, right. I get it. It s weird because Susan wasn t here to give a proper introduction. So, it s uncomfortable. Right, you understand. Of course. No worries. Maybe another time. (laughing) Okay. Yes another time. Well, I was going to leave, but I...

6 Have no car. Yes. Well. You can still stay and try to relax. I ll be in the shower. And I ll just be...here. Steve goes back into the bedroom. Then pops back out. Just for the record. You re really hot. Susan has a good eye. Thanks. Steve disappears. Susan where they hell are you with that wine? FADE OUT.
