1 & EPISODE #8 HIGH SCHOOL REUNION by Mary Engquist Skits for High School reunions Characters: Allison, George, Billy, Lady Hurry up, George, we are going to be late for the our high school reunion. Yeah, yeah, it s only been a short 20 years. They can wait a little bit longer to see me, ha ha. They will take one look at you and think it s been 50 years. Oh, Allison, help me get this tie on straight. I must look my best and this is only my dress rehearsal. Well, if you think that I will help straighten your tie so you can impress Mary Jane, you have another thing coming. There you go again. Are you still jealous of her?

2 Yea, I am jealous alright. I am so jealous that she was smarter than me. What is that supposed to mean, sweetheart? Never mind! Just get over here so I can help you with that tie. No reason to have a crooked one and embarrass me in front of all our old friends. Now maybe you should be able to do this someday yourself with enough practice. Who is that knocking at our door? Well, if you would answer the door maybe then you will find out. Oh, hi, Billy Boy, don t you look nice. I went all out, George, just to make myself look younger. Hey, you do look younger. What is your secret? Well, this must be kept secret. I had a face lift.

3 You what? How could you, Billy? What s the big deal? Go figure! Why, you re going to look younger than us. Yea, you should be ashamed of yourself. That is right, making your best friends look old. Wait a minute, George! Speak for yourself. Okay guys, enough. I will go and have the treatment reversed. You would do that for us? You mean they can reverse it back to the old you? Yea, I will be back.

4 (Billy exits the door.) Gee, George, we really put our foot in it. I feel bad now. But dang, he looks 10 years younger than us and we are all the same age. Well, not to worry, let him do his thing. Just picture this, Allison, we both are walking down the red carpet at our old Alma-Marta and they announce Here comes Allison & George, the ageless and most popular and good looking couple here tonight. Let s welcome the best ever homecoming Queen and King. Oh, George, you sure have a wild imagination. And since when were we the Queen & King? You don t remember? I sure do. In your dreams maybe! But Allison? Not to change the subject but did you pack all your medicines?

5 No, and I plan on leaving them all here. Why tomorrow tonight I will be 18 again, ha ha. George, you forgot one thing. What is that, Sweetheart? You may think you re 18 again but your body will say to you, Help! Help! Instead of turning into a pumpkin at midnight you will turn into a drug store. There you go again, Allison, always thinking negative. Well, tell me one thing positive and I will change my view. I remember something so positive that it will make your head swim. I m listening! Hold that thought for just one minute.

6 Well, your minute is up now, George. Just remember dear that I choose you and not Mary Jane. What does Mary Jane have to do with thinking positive? Well, last I heard through the grapevine, well Mary Jane is---o- la- la. I knew it, George, you still have a mad crush on her, now don t you? Now, Allison---What do I have to do to prove my love for you? (He tries to kiss her) Don t touch me or I will get the old rolling pin out, and then you will be sorry. Someone is at the door again. (Knock, knock) You get the door, and I ll get the phone (Phone rings. Allison leaves the room.)

7 (The door opens and in walks Billy again) Hey, Billy, you did it, why you are old again. Yea, I know it and I don t like it. How did you get old so fast, Billy? Why this morning you were 10 years younger. My beauty is not worth my friendship with you and Allison. Okay, but we got problems. Now what? Well, I made a smart remark about Mary Jane, and now Allison is real jealous. You need to do something, Billy. Well, I changed my looks, but I will be danged if I can change Mary Jane s looks. Have you seen her in the last 20 years?

8 I really don t think that Allison needs to worry. Why do you say that? Well, last I heard her cute little figure disappeared. How could it disappear? Well, it s like this, her body now has two more layers on it. Layers of what? Do I have to spell it out for you? No, but I think you re trying to tell me she is fat now. Hey dude, you finally hit the nail on the head. What nail? What head? (Allison walks in the room)

9 Just a funny story Billy was telling me. I can tell when you two are up to no good. Look at you, Billy, why you are old again. Yea, anything for my two best friends. How did you do it, Billy? Do what? Yea, answer him. This morning you were young and tonight you are old. Okay, you guys got me. I had put on an old Halloween mask that is smooth as molasses. It made me look younger, huh? And you all believed me when I told you I had a facelift, ha ha. You tricked us, Billy? That was not very nice. Yea, Billy, next time let me in on your little tricks.

10 Well, for your information I have a confession to make. We are listening! Yea, what is it, buddy? Well, I.. I.. Yea, you I, I what?? I, well, I.. I, Sir. What are you trying to say Billy? I joined the Navy. You what? How could you, Billy?

11 Yea, did you use that Halloween mask that you had on this morning to trick them into believing you were 20 years younger? You re too old to join the Navy and when they find out, well you will be in lots of trouble. You guys do not understand. And if you would both be quiet for one minute I will explain. We are waiting. Yea, me too. (Allison & George fold their arms and stare at Billy) Well, it s like this. I have found my father s old Navy uniform, and well, I want the girls to notice me. I will wear it to the reunion and they will flock to me like flies. What made you think of that, Billy? Well, it was my back-up plan. You see when you and Allison were so upset with my new younger looking face, I wanted to do something else to attract woman at the reunion. I am just

12 so tired of being alone and only having you two for back-up. Oh, Billy, I am so sorry, that we got upset with you. (She goes over and puts her arms around him) That is right, Billy. (He goes over and puts his arms around him also.) You guys are my Super Heros! Aha, Billy, wait someone is at the door. Who can that be? Answer it, George. Okay, (He opens the door. A beautiful slender lady is standing there in the doorway.) Can I help you, Miss? LADY Yea, my name is Mary Jane, and I just got into town today. I lost the directions to the high school reunion that I am going to tomorrow night. You came to the right place, just follow me Mary Jane. Do you remember me? I am Billy.

13 (Billy walks out the door with the lady and continues talking to her as they exit the stage.) Okay, George, you have a lot of explaining to do. Who me? How was I to know that Mary Jane has an hourglass figure and o-la-la? (Allison is now chasing George into the other room with a rolling pin.) The End
