2 TOGETHER WE STAND ALONE ATMOSPHERE THAT CANT BE BEATEN There is nothing better than being amongst the match day crowd of passionate Seagull members, cheering on our team as we take on the AFL heavyweights and our traditional state league rivals. And 2018 gave us plenty to cheer about! The VFL team played some exhilarating football in the second half of the season, with the highlight being the sterling qualifying final victory over minor Premiers Richmond, played in an electric atmosphere - even when the lights went out! There was also plenty of passion with our VFLW side, ending the season on a real high by winning the last three games, including an exciting win over Melbourne University (North Melbourne affiliated), an opponent that was filled with many top line AFLW players! 2019 promises to deliver plenty more excitement for our members. Our VFL men are inspired to make the extra step into a Grand Final, whilst our VFLW women, proudly flying the flag as the only traditional VFL stand-alone team in the VFLW competition, have set there sights on even more wins in MATCH DAY EXPERIENCE We are investing in our home ground facilities to make every member s match day experience one to remember. With the introduction of a permanent TV scoreboard, around the ground sound system, and lights for night matches, the venue will be a wonderful entertainment precinct! Our ever popular Kids Activity Zone will again operate on match days, with families and children of all ages enjoying the ever changing offer of rides and activities, that we will continue to make free to members. 2

3 We will also be introducing a Seagull Social Club in 2019, inviting members upstairs to the Seaview Event Centre to view the game and dissect it at the after-match presentations, where you will receive happy hour prices on all drinks, whilst mingling with players and coaches from all teams. Stay tuned for more information on that! EXTENDED BENEFITS The introduction of our Seagull Saver benefits in 2018 proved a great winner with our members, many of whom made great savings in utilizing the discounts provided by our local corporate partners. We are pleased to announce that, not only will we expand on the number of local Seagull Saver offers in 2019, but we have also joined up with Sports Pass to extend the member benefits to even wider choice of products and services including fuel, cinemas, etc. So whether you plan on attending every Seagull game or no games, these added benefits mean that membership is a great value-for-money choice for everyone. JOIN THE FORCE With close to 1,500 members, our Club proudly boasts the biggest membership base of all stand-alone clubs. And we want to grow that even bigger! Membership is critical to stand alone clubs, giving us the resources to compete against the AFL teams. So to support our players and grow our club, we need all Seagull supporters to buy your Williamstown membership and encourage your family and friends to do so too.
