1 GENERA INFORMATION 1) A qualified electrician, in accordance with IEE wiring regulations should carry out connection to mains wiring. 2) This unit must be EARTED. 3) Ensure that the rated voltage and frequency requirements are compatible with the available mains supply. 4) Cleaning of reflectors and lenses should be carried out using clean, soft and lint free cloths and anti-static cleaning fluid 5) Do not carry out high voltage insulation test, i.e. 500/1000v this may damage internal components. 6) Fluorescent lamps should be run in for an initial 100 hours prior to any dimming or emergency testing takes place. Inspiration IG FREQUENCY BAAST In order to protect igh Frequency Ballasts, the unit will automatically go into a stand-by state and prevent operation if any of the following occur. 1) The fluorescent lamps are defective, incorrectly fitted or of the wrong type or wattage. 2) The mains voltage is too high, low or disrupted. 3) The ballast overheats. 4) There are poor electrical connections in the circuit. 5) amps have been changed without the power being disconnected. To reactivate the ballast after the fault is corrected, switch the mains off for a minimum of 10 seconds. Do not connect this unit in circuits containing switch start ballasts. 3 COVER INSTAATION Cover Trunking FITTING INSTAATION OPEN TOGGE OCKED TOGGE NOTE: Emergency Versions ensure battery wire is connected before installing. Earth lead must be attached hen using Sensors Note: Sensors can only be installed inbetween fittings by using a sensor cover and can only used on DAI systems. To calculate DAI load for the number of sensors and dali switch required, See Further Information at the back of this leaflet. CIP! / CIP! Push inwards to remove diffuser Detection cone for the sensors must be considered when placing more than one sensor in a room. ARNING: Only ONE master fitting can be used per circuit. OPEN REMOVE DIFFUSER COSE CICK All Trunking Versions SIDE ARNING: Do not mount sensor in direct line of artifical light source e.g. lamps, uplight ard wire sensor to plug FIP CIP! / CIP! SQUEEZE TO REMOVE DIFFUSER 1). Unpack fitting and open the end caps at both ends. SIDE 2). Squeeze diffuser together and remove (2 persons will make this easy to remove) Do not mount sensor in direct sun light. 3). Align fitting with the toggle slot and ensure the power connection is at the correct end. Then push the fitting on to the trunking and lock using the toggles, making sure fitting is flush to the trunking. Isolate mains before installing sensor. Sensor Cover 4). Insert lamps and re-squeeze the diffuser back in place. 5). Push the end caps inwards towards the diffuser until closed.

Mark up suspension centres and either suspend wires or fix surface bracket to ceiling using suitable fixings (not supplied). 2). Start with the starter trunking use two suspension clip brackets to suspend the first trunking. 3). Slot the joining pins into the next trunking (half way in) and suspend from the opposite end (see diagram above) then slide the trunking together ensuring pins align correctly. Ensure trunking is level. 4) Screw continuous mount bracket down alternating screw 1 and 2 to pull the trunking together (see diagram above). Then clip together wiring loom.
