2 Instrument Set-up Introducton The safety nstructons and the user manual should be read through carefully before the product s used for the frst tme. The person responsble for the product must ensure that all users understand these drectons and adhere to them. 4 Operatons Swtchng ON/OFF Clear Message Codes Press ON button sec to start contnuous laser mode. If no key s pressed for 80 sec, the devce swtches off automatcally. sec Devce s turned OFF. x Undo last acton. x Leave actual functon, go to default operaton mode. If the message "InFo" appears wth a number, observe the nstructons n secton "Message Codes". Example: Adjustng measurng reference / trpod Press button sec and reference from front s set permanently. Wth pressng the equal button, the max or mn value can be moved n the man lne for calculaton afterwards. The measured value s shown n the man lne. After pressng the equal button, the result s shown n the man lne. Ths process can be repeated as requred. Multplyng a length more than 3 tmes s not possble. The same process can be used for addng or subtractng areas or volumes. Values from memory also can be used for calculatons.

9 Specal Functons In order to ncrease the usablty of the nstrument, major functons are accessble drectly va keyboard. All other functons are located n a menu structure. All specal functons can drectly started by pressng the On/Measure key after selecton.
