6 NMI, AUSTRALIA PAG-ASA, DOST ITDI, DOST The Global Positioning System Common View (GPSCV) time transfer system is intended to provide a timing signal, whose time difference with respect to the primary cesium clock at the Industrial Technology Development Institute (ITDI) is precisely known.

7 CAPABILITIES No accreditation and CMCs yet. Plans are being made to acquire accreditation.

8 ACTIVITIES Republic Act No (enacted into law May 2013) - An Act to set the Philippine Standard Time (PST) in all official sources throughout the country, to provide funds for the installation, operation and maintenance of synchronized time devices to be displayed in key public places and to declare the first week of every year as National Time Consciousness Week.

9 ACTIVITIES Time-of-day information disseminated to the general public through the telephone. 10 FUTURE PLANS Plan to acquire a Cesium standard for the PAGASA Time Service Unit Plan to upgrade NML Time and Frequency system. Attend future trainings in the field of Time and Frequency. Participate in future inter-laboratory comparison within our capability.

11 TRAINING NEEDS Inter-laboratory comparison on frequency measurements. Most of the DECs can participate in this activity. Calibration procedure for frequency measurements and their calculation of uncertainty
