2 Creating a Wrk Flder Create a flder t hld the edited pictures. Click n Start and chse My Pictures. Frm the Menu, click n File New Flder. Enter a name fr the flder (i.e. Edited Pictures) and press the Enter key. Changing Screen Reslutin It is recmmended that when wrking in Phtshp Elements t have the screen reslutin f the cmputer set t at least 1024x768. Minimize all prgrams by pressing the Windws+D keys n the keybard. Right-click n the Desktp and chse Prperties. Click n the Settings tab. In the Screen Reslutin sectin, click n the slider and drag it t 1024 X 768 (r higher). Opening the Adbe Phtshp Elements Editr Click n Start All Prgrams Adbe Phtshp Elements 9.0. Frm the Welcme Windw, click n Edit. The Editr Wrkspace The Editr prvides 3 ways t create and edit pictures: Full Edit - The Full Edit wrkspace cntains all f the tls needed t crrect clr prblems, create special effects, enhance phts and wrk in layers. Quick Fix The Quick Fix wrkspace cntains simple tls fr crrecting clr and lighting. Guided Edit The Guided Edit wrkspace cntains guided instructin and step-by-step assistance fr imprving phts. Menu Bar File New, Open, Clse, Clse All, Save As, Print, etc. Edit - Und, Red, Cut, Cpy, Paste, Preferences, etc. Image - Rtate, Resize Image Size/Canvas Size, etc. Enhance Aut Smart Fix, Aut Levels, Aut Cntrast, Aut Clr Crrectin, Aut Sharpen, Adjust Lighting, Adjust Clr, Cnvert t Black and White, etc. Layer - New Layer, Duplicate Layer, Delete Layer, Rename Layer, etc. Select All, Deselect, Reselect, Inverse, etc. Filter - Artistic, Blur, Brush Strkes, Distrt, Nise, Pixelate, Render, Sketch, Stylize, Texture, Vide, etc. View - Zm In, Zm Out, Fit t Screen, Print Size, Actual Pixels, Rulers, Grid, Snap t Grid, etc. Windw Images Tile r Cascade, Tls, Palette List, Palette Bin, Welcme, Prject Bin, etc. Help - Phtshp Elements Help, Vide Tutrials, etc. Arrangement Buttn Cntains settings fr hw pictures are arranged in the wrkspace. 3 Optins Bar Tlbx Panel Bin Prject Bin The Optins Bar is lcated just beneath the Menu bar at the tp f the Editr wrkspace. The Optins Bar changes as different tls are selected. T return a selected tl r all tls t their default settings, click the arrw n the far left side f the Optins Bar, then chse Reset Tl r Reset All Tls frm the menu. The Tlbx appears n the left side f the wrkspace. Tls in the tlbx are used t select, edit, and view images; sme tls let yu paint, draw, and type. T select a tl, click n a tl in the tlbx r press the tl s keybard shrtcut. The keybard shrtcut is displayed in its tltip. Nte: If the name f the tl in the tltip is clicked n with the muse, Adbe Help will pen with infrmatin abut the tl. If there is a small triangle in the lwer right crner f a tl, hld dwn the muse buttn n tp f the tl t view the hidden tls nested within the tl. Then frm the pp-ut bx, click n the desired tl. The Panel Bin is lcated n the right side f the wrkspace. Default panels included in the Panel Bin are the Effects panel and the Layers panel. T shw r hide the Panel Bin, click n Windw Panel Bin. Duble-click n the name f a panel in the Panel Bin t pen r clse the panel. T resize the panels within the Panel Bin, click and drag the adjustment bar separating the tw panels. T reset the Panel Bin t the default settings, frm the Menu, click n Windw Reset Panels. The Prject Bin is lcated at the bttm f the screen beneath the wrkspace and displays thumbnails f pen pictures r prjects. Opening a picture Frm the Menu, click n File Open then navigate t the lcatin f the picture(s). T pen a single picture, click nce n the picture then click the Open buttn duble-click n the picture. Nte: T pen multiple pictures at the same time, hld dwn the Ctrl key and click n each f the desired pictures. When all f the pictures are selected, click the Open buttn duble-click n ne f the selected pictures and all the selected pictures will pen in the Editr. Arranging multiple pictures Frm the Menu, click n the Arrange buttn and chse the desired arrangement frm the Menu, click n Windw Images. 4 Using the Prject Bin t manage pictures Duble-click n a thumbnail in the Prject Bin t bring the picture int the wrkspace. Rearranging pictures - click and drag the thumbnails t a new lcatin. Clsing a picture - right-click n the thumbnail and chse Clse. Viewing a picture s infrmatin - right-click n the thumbnail and chse File Inf. Duplicating a picture - right-click n the thumbnail and chse Duplicate. Give the duplicate picture a new name and click n OK. Rtating a picture - right-click n the thumbnail and chse Rtate 90 Left Rtate 90 Right. Shwing filenames fr the pictures right-click n ne f the thumbnails and chse Shw Filenames. Opening/clsing the Prject Bin frm the Menu, click n Windw Prject Bin duble-click n the Prject Bin tab lcated in the upper left crner f the Prject Bin. Viewing Pictures Zming in/ut and mving arund in a picture Frm the Tlbx, click n the Zm Tl. Frm the Optins Bar, chse either the Zm In r Zm Out buttn. Click n the picture t either magnify r shrink the picture in 100% increments. T mve arund a picture that has been zmed in, frm the Tlbx, click n the Hand Tl then click and drag n the picture t mve arund t different lcatins f the picture. Nte: The Hand Tl can als be activated at any time by pressing and hlding the Space Bar. Zming in n a selected area Frm the Tlbx, click n the Zm Tl then click and drag diagnally acrss the desired area f the picture. Zming t 100% - Frm the Tlbx, duble-click n the Zm Tl. Zming t Fit n the Screen Frm the Tlbx, duble-click n the Hand Tl. Editing Pictures in Guided Edit The Guided Edit wrkspace cntains guided instructin and step-by-step assistance fr imprving phts. At the tp f the Panel Bin, make sure the Edit tab is selected then click n Guided. Chse what yu wuld like t d frm the list f Guided Edit ptins. Basic Pht Edits Crp, Rtate, Straighten and Sharpen phts. Lighting and Expsure Lighten, darken, and adjust brightness and cntrast. Clr Crrectin Enhance clrs, remve a clr cast, and crrect a skin tne. Guided Activities Tuch scratches, blemishes, and tear marks, and guided pht editing. Phtmerge Merge multiple images f grup shts r faces. Autmated Actins Select an actin set and play the actins in the file. Phtgraphic Effects Apply effects like Line Drawing and Old Fashined Pht. Fun Edits Step-by-step prcedures fr ding fun editing prjects such as Out f Bunds, Pp Art, etc. Fllw the steps that appear fr the selected ptin. Nte: T change the view f the wrkspace t shw the Befre/After picture cmparisn, click n the View buttn in the lwer left crner f the Guided Edit wrkspace and chse Befre & After - Hrizntal. Click Dne Cancel t chse a different Guided Edit ptin. T return t Full Edit, at the tp f the Panel Bin, make sure the Edit tab is selected then click n Full. 5 Saving Pictures Frm the Menu, click n File Save As Navigate t the flder where the picture is t be saved (i.e. My Dcuments/My Pictures/Edited Pictures.) Enter a name fr the picture. Click n the dwn arrw fr Frmat and chse the desired file frmat then click n Save. JPEG (*.JPG,*.JPEG,*.JPE) Use this frmat fr single layer pictures r pictures that are ging t be used in ther prgrams such as a Wrd Prcessr, PwerPint, Web Pages, etc. When saving pictures that have multiple layers as JPG s, the layers will autmatically be flattened int a single layer. After chsing the ptin t save a picture as a JPG, a JPEG Optins windw will pen. If the picture is ging t be printed, chse Maximum quality (12). If the picture is ging t be ed r put n a website, chse Medium quality (7). Phtshp (*.PSD,*.PDD) Use this frmat fr pictures with multiple layers. PSD pictures can nly be repened in Phtshp prgrams. All layers will be retained s further editing can be dne. Resizing pictures fr attachments r web pages Frm the Menu, click n Image Resize Image Size. Make sure the Cnstrain Prprtins bx is checked t keep the image prprtinal. Check the bx t Resample Image and chse the ptin fr Bicubic. Change the Reslutin t 72. Set the Pixel Dimensins Width t 500 pixels. Nte: If the pixel dimensins are already 500 pixels r less, n change is necessary. (Optinal) T reset the picture t the riginal dimensins, hld dwn the Alt key and click n the Reset buttn. Clsing Pictures T clse a single picture: In the Prject Bin, duble-click n the picture t bring the picture t the wrkspace. Frm the Menu, click n File Clse Click n the X n the tab fr the desired picture Right-click n the picture in the Prject Bin and chse Clse frm the pp-up menu. T clse multiple pictures: In the Prject Bin, hld dwn the Ctrl key and click n each f the pictures that need t be clsed. Right-click n ne f the selected pictures in the Prject Bin and chse Clse frm the pp-up menu. T clse all pictures: Frm the Menu, click n File Clse All. 6 Editing Pictures in Full Edit mde Rtating a picture Frm the Menu, click n Image Rtate and chse 90 Left, 90 Right, r 180. Flipping a picture Frm the Menu, click n Image Rtate and chse Flip Hrizntal r Flip Vertical. Straightening a picture autmatically Frm the Menu, click n Image Rtate Straighten and Crp Image Frm the Menu, click n Image Rtate Straighten Image. Straightening a picture manually Frm the Tlbx, click n the Straighten Tl. Frm the Optins bar, chse ne f the fllwing ptins: Grw r Shrink Canvas t Fit Resizes the canvas t fit the rtated picture. Extra backgrund will appear arund the picture. Crp t Remve Backgrund Crps the picture and remves any blank backgrund area. Crp t Original Size Keeps the canvas the same size as the riginal picture. Sme f the picture will be cut ff when the picture is straightened and extra backgrund will appear arund the picture. T align the picture hrizntally, click and drag a line alng a hrizntal edge in the picture. T align the picture vertically: click n the picture t set the starting pint hld dwn the Cntrl key click and drag a line alng a vertical edge in the picture. Crpping a picture Frm the Tlbx, click n the Crp Tl. Nte: T crp a picture t a selected size, such as 4x6, frm the Optins Bar click n the Aspect Rati drp-dwn bx and chse the desired size. Click and drag ver the part f the picture yu want t keep. Adjust the crp marquee if necessary. T mve the marquee t anther psitin, place the pinter inside the bunding bx, and click and drag. T resize the selectin, click and drag the handles t the desired size. T rtate the marquee, psitin the pinter utside the bunding bx (the pinter turns int a curved arrw), and click and drage with the muse. 7 Adding a brder t a picture Increasing the canvas size adds space t ne r all sides f an image. Frm the Menu, click n Image Resize Canvas Size. Check the Relative Size bx. Click n the drp-dwn bx next t width and height and change the Units f Measurement t Inches. T increase the size f the canvas equally n all sides, make sure the Anchr is set t the center. Nte: T increase the size f the canvas n either side, in the Anchr sectin, click an arrw t indicate where t psitin the existing picture, i.e. clicking n the arrw n the right f the square, will mve the anchr psitin t the right and as a result mre canvas space will be added n the left. Enter the width and/r height fr the extended canvas (i.e..5 t extend the canvas size ½ an inch). Chse a backgrund clr frm the Canvas extensin clr bx. Click n the drp-dwn arrw and chse Backgrund, Fregrund, Black, White r Other Click n the clr bx t pen the Select canvas extensin clr windw. Mve the muse t an area f the picture (the muse changes t an eyedrpper). Click n a clr in the picture that yu want the extended canvas clr t be. Nte: T change the clr f the canvas, click n the Und buttn press Ctrl+Z t und then red the abve steps use the Crp Tl t crp the extended canvas ff the picture. Changing the clr f a brder using the Paint Bucket Tl Click n the Paint Bucket Tl. Click n the Set fregrund clr bx. Chse the desired clr frm the Select fregrund clr bx Mve the muse t an area f the picture and click n a clr in the picture that yu want t use. Click n the brder clr yu want t replace. 8 Enhancing Pictures Autmatically adjusting brightness/cntrast Frm the Menu, click n Enhance and chse frm the fllwing ptins: Aut Smart Fix - crrects verall clr balance and imprves shadw and highlight detail. Aut Levels - adjusts the verall cntrast f an image and may affect its clr. Aut Cntrast - adjusts the verall cntrast f an image withut affecting its clr. Aut Clr Crrectin - adjusts the cntrast and clr by identifying shadws, midtnes, and highlights in the image, rather than in individual clr channels. Aut Sharpen increases clarity r fcus withut the risk f versharpening. Aut Red Eye Fix autmatically detects and repairs red eyes. Manually adjusting brightness/cntrast Frm the Menu, click n Enhance Adjust Lighting Brightness/Cntrast. Make sure that Preview is selected. Click and drag the adjustment sliders t adjust the brightness/cntrast levels. Manually adjusting shadws/highlights Frm the Menu, click n Enhance Adjust Lighting Shadw/Highlights. Make sure that Preview is selected. Drag any f the adjustment sliders r enter values in the text bxes. Lighten Shadws Brightens the dark areas f a pht and reveals mre f the shadw detail that was captured in the image. Darken Highlights Darkens the light areas f a pht and reveals mre f the highlight detail that was captured in the image. Midtne Cntrast Adds r reduces the cntrast f middle tnes. Manually adjusting brightness/cntrast using levels Frm the Menu, click n Enhance Adjust Lighting Levels. Make sure that Preview is selected. Click and drag the black, white and gray adjustment sliders belw the histgram. Mve the black and white adjustment sliders t the edges f the histgram bar. 9 Enhancing the clr in a picture Frm the Menu, click n Enhance Adjust Clr Adjust Hue/Saturatin. Make sure that Preview is selected. Click and drag the Hue adjustment slider t change the clrs in the picture. Click and drag the Saturatin adjustment slider t make a tnal clr mre vivid r mre muted. Click and drag the Lightness adjustment slider t lighten r darken the picture. Cnverting a picture t sepia tnes (r ther tnal clrs) Frm the Menu, click n Enhance Adjust Clr Adjust Hue/Saturatin. Make sure that Preview is selected. Check the Clrize bx. Click and drag the Hue adjustment slider t the desired clr tne. Click and drag the Saturatin adjustment slider t make clrs mre vivid r mre muted. Click and drag the Lightness adjustment slider t lighten r darken the picture. Remving clr frm a picture Frm the Menu, click n Enhance Adjust Clr Remve Clr Frm the Menu, click n Enhance Cnvert t Black and White. Chse a Style that reflects the purpse f the picture. 10 Selecting areas f a picture t edit r enhance A selectin defines the editable area f a picture s that ne part f a picture can be wrked n withut affecting the rest f the picture. Selectins are made with Selectin Tls. Creating selectins using the Rectangular/Elliptical Marquee tls The Rectangular Marquee Tl draws square r rectangular selectin brders. The Elliptical Marquee Tl draws rund r elliptical selectin brders. Frm the Tlbx, click and hld the muse n the Rectangular/Elliptical Marquee Tl then click n either the Rectangular Marquee Tl the Elliptical Marquee Tl. Click and drag the muse diagnally ver the area f the picture yu wish t select. Nte: T draw a perfect square using the Rectangular Marquee Tl a perfect circle using the Elliptical Marquee Tl, hld dwn the Shift key while clicking and dragging t make the riginal selectin. Wrking with a selectin T mve a selectin, use the arrw keys n the keybard click inside f the selected area and drag the selectin t a new lcatin. T add t a selectin, Frm the Optins Bar, click n the Add t Selectin buttn hld dwn the Shift key. Click and drag a selectin ver r arund the area f the picture that needs t be added t the selectin. T remve part f a selectin, Frm the Optins Bar, click n the Subtract frm Selectin buttn hld dwn the Alt key. Click and drag a selectin ver r arund the area f the picture that needs t be remved frm the selectin. T switch the selectin t the ppsite area, click n Select Inverse. T cancel a selectin, press Cntrl+D n the keybard press the Escape key. Adding a brder t a selectin Use a selectin tl t make the desired selectin n the picture. Frm the menu, click n Edit Strke (Outline) Selectin. Type in the desired width fr the size f the utline. Click n the clr bx and chse the desired clr. Chse the desired lcatin fr the strke: Inside the selectin, Centered n the selectin Outside the selectin. Creating a free-hand selectin using the Lass tl The Lass Tl draws freehand selectin brders. Frm the Tlbx, click and hld the muse n the Lass /Magnetic Lass /Plygnal Lass Tl and then click n the Lass Tl. Click and drag the muse arund the desired area f the picture. Cmplete the selectin by ending back at the starting pint and releasing the muse. Nte: If the selectin des nt end back at the starting pint, a straight line will cmplete the cnnectin between the beginning and ending pints. 11 Quickly selecting f an area f a picture using the Quick Selectin tl The Quick Selectin Tl makes a selectin based n clr and texture similarity in the picture. Frm the Tlbx, click n the Quick Selectin Tl. Frm the Optins Bar, click n the Brush Size buttn and change the diameter f the brush t the desired brush size Use the left bracket key ( [ ) and the right bracket key ( ] ) n the keybard t increase/decrease the brush size. Click and drag the muse ver the desired area f the picture. Refine the selectin as needed by clicking n the Add t/subtract frm selectin buttns n the Optins bar by using the Shift/Alt keys and clicking and dragging the muse ver the desired area. Changing the clr f a selected area Frm the Tlbx, chse the selectin tl that will wrk the best fr the type f selectin that will be made. Click and drag t make a selectin arund r ver the area f the picture where the clr will be changed. Nte: If the selectin needs t be switched t the ppsite area, frm the Menu, click n Select Inverse. Frm the Menu, click n Enhance Adjust Clr Adjust Hue/Saturatin. Make sure that Preview is selected. Click and drag the Hue adjustment slider t change the clrs in the selected area f the picture. Click and drag the Saturatin adjustment slider t make a tnal clr mre vivid r mre muted. Nte: T remve the clr in the selected area, click and drag the Saturatin slider all the way t the left. Click and drag the Lightness adjustment slider t lighten r darken the selected area f the picture. Creating a vignette Frm the Tlbx, chse the selectin tl that will wrk the best fr the type f selectin that will be made. Frm the Optins bar, type in a Feather amunt. The larger the number, the sfter the edge. Click and drag t make a selectin arund r ver the desired area f the picture. Frm the Menu, click n Select Inverse t switch the selectin t the ppsite area. Press the Delete key n the keybard t delete the selected area. Nte: The deleted area becmes filled with the backgrund clr. T change the clr: Click n Und. Click n the Set Backgrund Clr bx. Chse the desired clr frm the Select backgrund clr bx Mve the muse ver an area f the picture (the muse changes t an eyedrpper) then click n a clr in the picture. 12 Retuching Pictures Whitening teeth r the white areas f eyes using the Ddge tl (Optinal) Frm the Tlbx, click n the Lass Tl the Quick Selectin Tl then click and drag a selectin arund r ver the teeth r the white area f an eye t keep the changes within the selected area. Refine the selectin as needed by clicking n the Add t/subtract frm selectin buttns n the Optins Bar by using the Shift/Alt keys and clicking and dragging the muse ver the desired area. Frm the Tlbx, click and hld n the Spnge /Ddge /Burn Tl then select the Ddge Tl. The Spnge Tl is used t saturate/desaturate clrs in a picture. The Ddge Tl is used t lighten areas f a picture. The Burn Tl is used t darken areas f a picture. Frm the Optins Bar, set the Range t Midtnes and the expsure t 20%. Frm the Optins Bar, click n the dwn arrw t the right f the Size buttn and drag the slider t the desired size. Use the left bracket key ( [ ) and the right bracket key ( ] ) n the keybard t increase/decrease the brush size. Click and drag ver the desired area r inside f the selected area t lighten that area f the picture. If a selectin was made, press Cntrl+D Escape t deselect. Nte: The Spnge Tl can als be used t whiten r desaturate the clr f teeth r the white areas f eyes. Adding a blur t an area f a picture using the Blur tl The Blur Tl sftens hard edges r areas in a picture by reducing detail. (Optinal) Frm the Tlbx, chse the Lass Tl the Quick Selectin Tl then click and drag a selectin arund r ver the area that will becme blurred. Refine the selectin as needed by clicking n the Add t/subtract frm selectin buttns n the Optins Bar by using the Shift/Alt keys and clicking and dragging the muse ver the desired area. Frm the Tlbx, click and hld n the Blur /Sharpen /Smudge Tl then select the Blur Tl. Frm the Optins Bar, click n the dwn arrw t the right f the Size buttn and drag the slider t the desired size. Use the left bracket key ( [ ) and the right bracket key ( ] ) n the keybard t increase/decrease the brush size. Click and drag ver the desired area r inside f the selected area t blur that prtin f the picture. If a selectin was made, press Cntrl+D Escape t deselect. 13 Remving the glare frm glasses using the Smudge tl The Smudge Tl picks up clr where the muse is clicked and pushes it in the directin that the muse is dragged. Frm the Optins Bar, chse a brush size that is slightly larger than the area that needs t be fixed. Remving large blemishes using the Healing Brush tl Use the Healing Brush Tl when yu need t fix large areas f imperfectins r when yu need mre cntrl than the Spt Healing Brush Tl prvides. Frm the Tlbx, click and hld the muse n the Spt Healing Brush /Healing Brush Tl then click n the Healing Brush Tl. Frm the Optins Bar, click n the Brush size and set the diameter, hardness and spacing fr the brush. The sfter the brush, the mre blending there will be with the surrunding area. Frm the Optins Bar, click n the Brush Size buttn and change the diameter f the brush t the desired brush size Use the left bracket key ( [ ) and the right bracket key ( ] ) n the keybard t increase/decrease the brush size. Frm the Optins Bar, make sure the Mde is set t Clr. Click and drag the brush ver the area f the picture that needs t be painted. If a mistake is made, click n the Und buttn Ctrl+Z. Fading part f a picture using the Gradient tl Set the fregrund clr t white. Frm the Tlbx, click n the Default Fregrund/Backgrund Clrs buttn then click n the Switch Fregrund/Backgrund Clrs buttn. Frm the Tlbx, click n the Gradient Tl. Frm the Optins Bar, click n the Gradient Picker palette t pen the gradient style chices. Frm the Default gradient library, duble-click n the Fregrund t Transparent gradient style (tp rw, secnd frm the left). Frm the Optins Bar, select the gradient type (i.e. Linear, Radial, Angle, Reflected r Diamnd). 15 Wrking with Text Adding text using the Hrizntal Type tl Frm the Tlbx, click n the Hrizntal Type Tl. Frm the Optins Bar, chse a fnt, size and clr fr the text. Click in the picture where the text is ging t g and type the desired text. Ntice a new layer fr the text in the Layers Palette in the Palette Bin. Frm the Optins Bar, click n the checkmark when finished. Mving text Frm the Tlbx, click n the Mve Tl desired psitin. then click n the text in the picture and drag the text t the Resizing text Editing text Frm the Tlbx, click n the Mve Tl then click nce n the text t select it. Click n ne f the crner handles and drag away frm the text t make it larger r twards the center f the text t make it smaller. Click n the Checkmark belw the text t cmplete the resizing actin. Frm the Layers Palette, duble-click n the text thumbnail n the text layer. This will highlight the text in the picture. Frm the Optins Bar, make changes t the fnt, size, and text clr. T create Warped Text, highlight the text then frm the Optins Bar, click n the Create Warped Text buttn. Click n the Style bx and chse a style fr the text. Make any desired adjustments, i.e. hrizntal t vertical, bend, hrizntal distrtin, vertical distrtin. Frm the Optins Bar, click n the checkmark when finished. Outlining text Deleting text Frm the Palette Bin in the Layers palette, right-click n the text layer and chse Simplify Layer. Nte: Simplifying text will change the text s that it can n lnger be edited. Frm the Menu, click n Edit Strke (Outline) Selectin Type in the desired width f the utline. Click n the clr bx and chse a clr fr the utline. Nte: Frm the Clr Picker windw, click n the desired clr chse a clr frm ne f the pictures in the prject by clicking n the desired clr in the picture. Chse the lcatin f the utline: inside the selectin, centered ver the selectin, r utside the selectin. Frm the Layers Palette, click n the text layer then press the Delete key n the keybard Click and drag the text layer in the Layers Palette t the Trash icn at the tp f the Layers Palette. 16 Printing individual pictures Open the desired picture(s). Nte: Fr best results, use the full sized picture nt the picture that was resized t 500 pixel width. Printing a resized picture t an 8x10 print size will result in a blurry picture. T select multiple pictures, hld dwn the Ctrl key and click n each f the picture thumbnails in the Prject Bin. Frm the Menu, click n File Print In the Select Printer sectin, chse the printer where the picture(s) will be printed. In the Printer Settings sectin, click n the Change Settings buttn and chse the type f paper that the picture(s) will be printed n, i.e. standard, glssy, matte, etc. In the Select Paper Size sectin, click n the paper size buttn and chse the size f paper the picture(s) will be printed n. In the Select Type f Print sectin, chse Individual Prints. Click n the Select Print Size drp dwn bx and chse the size f prints yu want fr the selected picture. Nte: T fit an individual picture t the specified size, check the Crp t Fit bx. Type in the number f desired cpies. T change the psitin f a picture n the page, uncheck the Center Image bx then click n the blue utline surrunding the picture and drag the picture in the preview windw t the desired psitin. T rtate the picture, click n the Rtate 90 Left/Rtate 90 Right buttns lcated in the lwer right crner beneath the Preview windw. Nte: The settings fr the printer will vary depending n the type f printer. Click n Print... Getting Help Nte: An active Internet cnnectin is required. Frm the Menu, click n Help Phtshp Elements Help.
